xxxxxxxxx█ Al is almost like a Tsundere, but without all the violence towards the person he likes. There are two sides to him, the hardworking student that follows the rules, and the sensitive side that wants to be himself but is afraid.
Al has always been one to study and is usually seen as a teacher's pet who is a hard-a** that ruins everyone's fun. To him, his academics are just as important. It is better to be an educated student, than one that is stupid and not really worthy of their position. To him, knowledge is power.
On the other hand, he yearns to be in a group of friends like everyone else. He wants to be included and helpful to others, but feels like he is doesn't really know how to relax. Like all he knows how to do is give other people a speech. This side of him also has a soft spot for things that are cute, like animals or cutely made desserts. If he is ever caught admiring or adoring such a thing, he completely denies it and insults the other person to try and cover it up. Eventually however, if he is comfortable enough around you, he opens up and tries to get advice for what he might be doing wrong. He can be a little vulnerable during this time.
It is cliché to think about it, but Alphonse has shown a lot of growth since meeting his girlfriend. Less of a tsundere and more of an adventurous teen, the 18 year old has filled out nicely over the break and his skin has become a bit more tanned from being out under the sun a lot more. While he still is pretty shy about meeting new people, the teen has gotten a lot more confident in himself and his abilities. Mainly because he doesn't have a useful perc, and has to rely on his own personal bodily skills to get by as a hero. Despite beefing up a little bit, he is still the type to get flustered, blush, and adore cute things. He can also be a tad too risky business with his girlfriend, getting up to all kinds of happenings that can get them into trouble.

xxxxxxxxx█ Sacrificial Lamb: Alphonse, if he establishes a blood link with a person(Meaning that he and the user have exchanged blood in some way), Al is able to absorb any injury a person has onto himself if he is willing. For example: If you and Al have exchanged blood, and you get a cut on your wrist, if Al chooses to, he can absorb the injury onto himself so that he is the one with the cut wrist and not you. Although his pain tolerance is high, and his body is able to handle the injures better than others, he is still human and can easily die from a severe injury.
