He snarled as his target was ripped from him because of earth movement he couldn't have predicted. He had imagined stabbing through her quite easily, and now the moment was taken from him. They were impeding fate. It was futile, but it was still a bold act that required punishment. The Poisoner embraced his rage for only a moment before Kai rioted inside of his mind at Miki's words. Heartbreak and regret and a righteous anger curled inside his mind from the Jonin's distress, causing him to grimace. Kai's words weren't clear to him; it felt like they were coming from beneath a well full of water where the bubbles that rose to the surface contained little essence of Kai's message, though his feelings were painfully clear for The Poisoner.
He barely pulled himself out of the trance in time to evade the iron environment and Miki's powerful strike, as he was completely unprepared for both since Kai had never witnessed them before, flickering a few inches behind Miki [ Body Flicker | D ]. He'd need to stab her in the back to get a leg up on this situation, since her rage and apparent bijuu made her too formidable to take head-on. He was also outnumbered. He slammed his palm on his thigh, letting a fuuinjutsu unfurl around him to summon another ally [ Summoning Jutsu | A ]. Then, he refocused on hurting Miki before she could get out his reach. He stabbed at her like he'd tried with Sumika [ ▰ Stab [ Tsuki ] | Rank C boosted to S+ | Simple ]. He snarled as he moved, while Kioku flapped his wings and cawed, casting a genjutsu at Sumika to keep her distracted [ Haunting Omen | C ]. If The Poisoner's new ally could help him get them under control, he could poison them to keep them docile while he set them ablaze.

Sumika's shout of pain as he knocked her directly onto her injury made his stomach roll, but he relief that she hadn't been hurt worse by Kai eased the feeling. With his friend out of immediate harm's way, he scrambled to his feet and began his approach once again. He'd only made it a few steps before Miki launched her assault. Initially he welcomed the assistance, but something about her demeanor was off. He'd never seen her act so violently before. This wasn't just rage, this was something much worse. Kai and Miki's blades clashed, and the eruption of fire from Miki's attack began the literal collapsing of his world to accompany his figurative one. Rumbling and explosions followed the eruption of Miki's attack, the ground soon giving way to massive trees that coated themselves in metal. Stones from the walkways pelted Himitsu, forcing him to stop and shield his eyes from debris. The building beside Himitsu exploded and sent him sliding across the broken ground, barely able to stay on his feet. "This is bad... I can't see what's happening..." When a tree erupted from the ground a little too close for his comfort, Himi decided he'd had enough and activated his [Fuuton: Shunshin no Jutsu] to get above the action until it had settled, landing on the remnants of a nearby building for a moment.
Himitsu spotted Miki and Kai below him just as Kai summoned another crow. A bit of disdain for the noisy creatures was growing inside the younger Uchiha, and it took root the moment he noticed the echoes of another cackle of a crow in the distance. "Miki... I'm going to take care of the birds and find Sumika. Keep him busy." It worried him to leave her, but Sumika was already hurt, and Miki seemed plenty capable even if something was odd. Himi hopped along until he spotted the crows that had gotten him with their genjutsu earlier. "Stupid birds..." He muttered to himself as he formed his handseals and launched his attack. He stomped his right foot into the ground hard and thrust his elbows back, fists out. Dozens [32] of stone spikes half emerged from the stone debris and structures, all cocked toward the crow twins. [Rock Spear [ Gansetsukon ] | Rank S] Himitsu let out a shout and thrust his hands forward, launching the spikes at the birds, dividing them evenly between the pair.
While the birds were at least distracted, Himitsu located Sumika and approached her openly, trying not to startle her. He reached out with a bit of chakra on his hand an attempted to [Kai | Rank C] her out of any genjutsu that might be on her from the crows. They'd managed to snag him with their noises, so he had concern for her. Since he arrived to the scene she'd been slow to act, so maybe Kai had already even gotten her with something before he arrived. Either way, he hoped not to get pulverized by reaching out. "Sumika? Sumika. Hey." Himitsu did what he could to get her attention. "Look, everything's ********. I think Miki's having a psychotic break, Kai's definitely lost his s**t, and I am RAPIDLY figuring out that I can't handle any of this on my own. I need your help. We need your help!" The more he spoke, the faster his heart raced, his head darting around for any sign of the birds' return or another attack from Kai.

Sumika watched in horror as the already sorry state of her arm began to get worse, as she literally started to fall apart. Pieces falling away, not from the burn but from her finger tips and working upwards. It was vile enough that she felt like vomiting on the spot, and then suddenly something touched her. Sixty Seven’s hand snapped to Himitsu’s wrist and Sumika slumped to her knees, now looking at an arm that, while still falling apart, at least wasn’t coming off, yet. Next to her Sixty Seven’s free hand shimmered with chakra readying a Gentle Fist strike.
Genjutsu? It must have been. She struggled to make sense of what was being said, and she desperately wanted to have the puppet snap the bones of the Uchiha’s wrist; instead, its grip released a moment later. Why did she have to solve it? They were the ones with the fancy eyes, the ones with the all consuming fire, who could rip holes in the fabric of space and predict their opponent’s next move before they even knew they were making it. She was just some second rate nobody with one working arm who’d tried and failed to make anyone think she was strong enough to care about.
Unable to understand what he was talking about in regards to Miki, Sumika shoved Himitsu in the chest a moment later, probably not with enough strength to actually push him away, and Sixty Seven once again meshed a hand with hers - helping her up and then forming seals. An extra pair of arms snaked out from the puppet’s sides, forming yet more hand seals. She grimaced as she knelt again, placing a hand onto the ground. Elsewhere in her little forest the jutsu began acting.
The Senju clan’s trademark Foo Dog Heads [ Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads | Rank S+ ] would find their way to Miki, though not intentionally. She assumed she was trying to stop Masato from turning Kai into kindling. In the confusion the Uchiha woman’s chakra had become quite difficult to pick out of the haze of information in Sumika’s head as the pain from her arm began to spread involuntarily to the rest of her body. The puppet finished the second set of seals and a bed of crystal formed under Kai and Miki [ Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation | Rank S ], beginning a creep upwards in an attempt to encase both of them. With luck it’d lock the inexperienced demon host into the biju damping array and capture Kai with it. A sound, but ultimately unintended strategy. She was simply spending chakra in hopes of somehow surviving.
Sumika doubled over in pain from her kneeling position, wrapping a hand around her injured arm at the elbow in an attempt to keep it from moving, and thus hurting, more. “Why are you sitting here staring at me!” She screamed as Sixty Seven reached for Himitsu with the intent of shoving him again, this time easily enough to send him onto his a** if he wasn’t paying attention. The words were shrill and desperate, tinged by the tears rolling down her face even as she started to shake from the shock of the pain. “Why are your stupid eyes gawking at a one armed, talentless runt instead of doing something! Do something other than destroying my home or trying to kill me, Uchiha brat!”
The words were that of a woman whose mind straddled the line of being consumed by the chaos of her surroundings and the very real pain that was threatening to shut her brain down. They were panicked, an attempt to resolve the disease of her situation through a primal exertion of energy. But there was true sentiment at their core. A childhood of being bullied by the red eyed menaces. A young adulthood highlighted by fleeing as Masato helped Kogarashi reduce Uzushiogakure to a smoldering crater. An uncomfortable new life watching the Kyubi’s previous host be welcomed into the village like family, as she fought to get the Hokage to remember that she’d been in the village as long or longer than anyone else. An ill-advised attempt to let go of her predilection for antagonizing the Uchiha clan, repaid with burnt flesh and future nightmares. She didn’t mean what she said, but at the same time she did.

Elsewhere, near what was once the entrance to Sumika’s mechanism shop, a rustle shifted through the forest as something entered unseen to stalk its confines.

The user's chakra produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates ten pillars measuring ten feet in height which have Foo Dog heads carved atop them, each adorned with a burning candle wic. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues converge on their target, creating a spherical barrier around the user that contains them to a ten foot radius, being treated as two ranks higher in collisions coming from within. For every post that the target is trapped within the barrier they are drained of the user' body rank in demonic chakra or corrupt nature chakra and forcibly revert to a lesser transformed state each post until the transformation ends. Once the transformation ends, this technique also ends and the target has their transformation locked for five posts. This technique requires an upkeep cost equal to two ranks below executed rank. Additionally, the user may pay the cost of one technique being used to break free from within the barrier each post as a supplementary action.
▰ Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation [ Suishōheki Hachi no Jin ] | Rank S This technique allows the user to encase a large area in crystal, thus crystallizing everything within it. Forming from a surface within sight of the user, crystals begin growing upwards rapidly encasing and crystalizing anything, including enemies and techniques of the elements mentioned at the start of this bloodline listing provided they are of a lower rank. It covers an area of about 100ft in diameter and will shatter without affecting living beings inside of it if not broken by the user or another party within 3 posts of its creation.
Deconstructed Essence: When custom metal armors, weapons, and items are successfully reduced to iron sand by the deconstruction ability, the jiton user is able to retain [1] of the custom abilities of the original item in their iron sand for the duration of the battle. Miki thought she heard Himi in the distance talking to her, but the blood in her ears made and the heat of the battle made the girl not understand what he was saying. She had to focuson Kai. Kai was fast. Faster than the jinchuriki could react. Miki was too unexperienced with this new found power to truly be able to use it effectively. The girl was struck out of the air suddenly by a sharp sting in her back. Miki slammed against the ground with a large *thud*. 'Damn that hurt.' Miki said to herself, finding it hard to get back up. The pain was far too much. It was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. 'I said you couldn't handle my power Uchiha.' The Kyuubi's voiced boomed once again in the back of Miki's head. 'You can't even use fire techniques. What a useless uchiha you are!' The Kyuubi laughed.
Miki continued to try and force herself up. 'Shut up...' She would say as her hand gripped the earth below her. The orange chakra that covered the girl continued to pour out, ears and a second tail becoming more well formed as Miki's nails grew out into talons. 'Masato to a Uchiha that can't even use fire. Let me free girl. You don't deserve my power.' Miki growled to herself as the stab wound on her back slowly began to release a slight steam from the Kyuubi's chakra healing it. 'I don't need your power.' Miki replied back as she forced herself onto both her hands and feet, making her appear almost like a feral animal. At that moment she saw the foo dogs descending upon her. The girl body flickered away knowing what the structures could do to her. However, she used the flicker to appear directly upon Kai again. At the end of her flicker, an explosion of chakra would come from the girl that would poison kai with disease. [ Quick Rush [ Hayai Yakushin ] | D Rank | Spiritual ]
Miki wasn't sure who had attacked her. Her focus was dead set on Kai and only him."I won't let you hurt them!" Miki snarled at Kai. Having dropped her Katana, Miki decided to go in for a punch. One super powered by the Kurama's chakra once again. If the punch were to land, Kai would find himself flying back 100 feet and suffering serious injuries. The user vanishes from sight, avoiding any attack and moving to any desired location within the topic. When landing, any living being within twenty feet of the user is met with a wave of demonic chakra that inflicts tier one poison on those in range. Additionally, the user's landing causes the ground to crumble beneath them, reducing agility within twenty feet of themselves by 1 point. ● Devastating Strike [ Kaimetsu-tekina Sutoraiku ] | Rank S | Simple The user attacks an opponent with a single, super powered strike. With thumb and index finger, the user prepares a single flicking action. Upon contact with a target, this finger flick creates a mighty back draft that pushes all objects and persons below the rank of this technique back one hundred feet with such concussive force that the ground throughout the topic rumbles, measuring fifty feet in width. Target's stricken directly have their endurance stat negated as armor shatters as though it were made of glass and causing tier four trauma. For each point in strength the user has over their maximum, this technique expands it's range by fifty feet. When aimed at the earth, this technique creates trenches equal to it's range in the earth, leaving nothing but havoc in it's wake. ● ●

Himitsu's strike caused the crow twins to desummon back to their realm, but Senshu paid him in kind with a fireball genjutsu [ Damnation of the Ebony Flame | Rank A ]. Kai, in the meantime, rioted within the mind of The Poisoner, screaming as the blade met Miki's back and brought her to the ground. He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest by watching his teammates succumb by his own hands, even if he was watching those hands from a third person perspective as a captive in his own mind. He begged and raged and fought, but he couldn't rip control of his body away from The Poisoner.
A jade prison sprung up, and The Poisoner slammed his bloodied blade down into the crystal prison to keep it from obstructing him [ Fissure Striking | Rank S+ ]. "I will hurt you instead," The Poisoner promised Miki after her declaration. He then prepared his blade again as Miki came at him, channeling it with chakra to catch the explosion of chakra from her flicker before digging it into the ground to launch boulders at her [ Dismembering Slash | Rank D (treated C) / Unearthing Vengence | Rank B | Complex ]. However, The Poisoner's bloodthirstiness forced him to keep his eyes on the blood soaking Miki's clothing, and it was all Kai needed to channel enough strength to stop The Poisoner from exerting enough chakra to successfully block her attack. Kai metaphorically tied The Poisoner's hands, as the willful dampening of charka exertion forced him to tank her hit. Their ears rang as the force of Miki's strike forced them both to fly several dozen feet backwards into a building, stuck in the side of the wall they'd partially destroyed.
1. ▰ Fissure Striking | Rank S+ | Complex [@ Jade Prison] The user strikes the ground with all their might, bringing their blade downward From the impact point of their sword a massive tremor expands out in a conial shape for twenty five feet where the earth breaks apart and churns as it is devastated by an earthquake. All agility and speed of targets are reduced by 2 points within this area of effect while any techniques with upkeep costs being paid are interrupted as the foe fights against the upturning earth. The earthquake stays in effect for 3 posts at A rank and is increased by two post durations for each additional rank. When used at higher ranks,this requires the difference between the technique's base rank and the desired rank to be paid for entirely from chakra, allowing the attacks range to double with each additional rank. 2. ▰ Dismembering Slash | Rank D | Spiritual | Supplementary (treated C) The user charges their blade with chakra, imbuing any bukijutsu slash with devastating chakra that allows the user's weapon to become coated in their chakra. This chakra interacts with any object the weapon impacts during a collision separate from the weapon attack itself, allowing the user's attack to often go unchallenged by defenses in general. Additionally, when used against an unarmored target his attack is treated as one rank higher. 2. ▰ Unearthing Vengence | Rank B | Complex [@ Miki, gets eaten up bc Devastating Strike has better resource in collision] The user imbues their blade with chakra as they swing it along the ground with the tip digging in to the earth. The tip of the blade burrows through the earth, leaving a trench in it's wake as it splits the earth in a twenty foot line that is five feet in width and fifty in depth. Additionally, the blade throws large boulders at targets in the path of the slash for the distance of the trench that cause tier 3 trauma. The target must defend with two separate actions, avoiding the trench and the boulders individually.

▰ Damnation of the Ebony Flame [ @ Himitsu ] ▰Category: Enchantment ▰Rank: A ▰Primary Sense: Touch ▰Additional Senses: Sight, Sound, Scent, +Taste ▰Base Duration: 5 Posts ▰Upkeep: 40 Chakra ▰Trigger: Sound, Crow's Caw ▰Source: Physical Phantasm ▰Status Effect: Mental Stress ▰Description: Senshu caws loudly and upon hearing his song the targets see him launch a black fireball from his beak. It is forty feet in circumference and when launched will consume the target(s). They will feel as if their flesh is being scorched by the hellish black flames. This is incredibly painful but they can also smell the ash and the burning of their flesh. Immense pain and mental stress will afflict the opponent as well.
Himitsu braced for an attacked when the puppet grabbed his hand, but slowly relaxed when it didn't come. When it released him, he rubbed his wrist slightly as Sumika gathered herself a bit. He gathered she'd done as much as she was going to when she shoved him. "Wow... Uncalled for..." Now wasn't the time to be petty or sarcastic, so he kept his mouth shut for once. As Sumika and her puppet formed seals, he tried to spot its targets, having lost sight of Kai and Miki while trying to find his other team mate. Her sudden shouting at him surprised him, and he turned too slow to notice the puppet shoving him. Just before its hand made contact, the sound of the other crow's cackle hit his ears.
In an instant, he was falling through the air, engulfed in dark flames. His shouts echoed off the stone walls and iron trees as he fell to the ground. They stopped only for a brief second as he hit the ground, interrupted by a solid, "Oomph!" as he hit the ground. Rolling around in the ground in an attempt to put out the flames that were searing his skin, his yelling continued, but quieter and occasionally muffled as his face dug into the ground. When he finally got a mouthful full of dirt, his brain kicked back in and recalled the crow's call. In a desperately hopeful attempt, he formed a handseal and performed a [▰ Kai | Rank A ] technique. The flames dissipated, but Himitsu lied still on the ground for a moment and breathed heavily, still feeling a harsh tingling across his body to accompany the dull pain across his entire back.
When the pain subsided slightly, he managed to roll over and pick himself up, thankful he hadn't been mauled further while caught in the genjutsu. Assuming more would come his way, he switched his sharingan lens to better predict jutsu and defend against the genjutsu of the crows. "Stupid birds!" Sick of the evil winged wretches, sick of the genjutsu, and sick of his friends being jerks, he shouted through his aches while he looked for Miki and Kai again from the street-level. "You know what, Sumika?! These stupid eyes are the reason you don't have a hole through you to match the burn! But if you hate them so much, take it out on those stupid birds! The sound of Kai and Miki's explosive collision drew him them again finally. As dust settled slightly while he approached, and he first spotted Miki's orange chakra cloak first. "What... is that?" The words fell out of his mouth before he even noticed his lips moving. Miki's form within eased his concerns slightly, but the look on her face merely warped his concerns elsewhere. For now though, he needed to be concerned about the person actively trying to kill them, not how his friends were feeling. Himitsu located Kai, and took his shot while Kai was at a disadvantage. His hands quickly formed several seals, and lightning sparked around his hands as he did so. But as he neared the end, the sparks sputtered. With his skin still tingling and the image of his charred hands still fresh in his mind however, he'd lost his focus and felt his fingers go numb, botching the technique. "Shitshitshit..." The boy shook out his hands and blinked a few times, took a breath and formed his seal again, flawlessly this time. Once finished, he slammed his hands into the ground, activating his [Four Pillar Binding [ Shichuu Shibari ] | Rank S] jutsu, centered near the middle of the building he'd assumed Kai had been blasted into, based on the dust rolling out of massive hole in its wall. The impact of his hands on the ground sent an uncomfortable sensation up his arms which made him wince, but he did his best to otherwise ignore it for now. Before the feeling had come back completely again, attempted to make several seals and fill the building with Electric Fog, but once again his hands failed him. Over and over again he tried to use his jutsu, but his hands fumbled over each other, numb and shaking with panic and stress. "Come on!" Himitsu's eyes darted all across the building as the stone pillars erupted around its edge and lightning crackled around them. It was too late for his fog to boost the cage's initial effectiveness, but there was still time to prepare for future moves, just in case the cage didn't work. But the fog never came, despite the new chunin's repeated trials.

“Stinky Chunin asking the Genin to bail… them out… like some kinda scrub. Gotta stop… the mangy fox… co… balt.” Sumika said, her voice slowing as she struggled to use her squadmate’s movement as a focal point to maintain consciousness. As he disappeared into her forest again, the woman finally gave in to heavy eyelids and slumped unceremoniously forward - her forehead impacting the street’s pavers with a distinctive thud. Himitsu could snap back all he wanted, he’d get no help or further assistance from the woman whose shoulder had been burnt nearly to the bone. She was beyond her limit.
Elsewhere in the makeshift forest, now but an inert set of trees with Sumika’s exit from the waking world, Cobalt stalked the remaining bird. Himitsu’s problem was the assumption that Sumika was entirely out of it, that his fancy eyes had allowed him to do something she couldn’t, that she was helpless and flailing while he and Miki did the brunt of the work. Even as he asserted his superiority, the techniques she’d fought to clear her mind to deploy were being dealt with and Cobalt was already on the prowl.
Yes, he had helped, but the Uchiha was not as vital an actor in the preservation of the breath in her lungs as he imagined, and though he clearly couldn’t see it she’d laid the groundwork for subduing the threat he’d yet to even realize existed. As goofy and weird as Sumika was, few in the village had more experience with the nine tailed mongrel Miki was barely holding at bay, and neither of the other Uchiha had the level of prowess necessary to stop it.
Himitsu demanded she deal with the birds when Cobalt had set about hunting them before he freed her from their jutsu the first time, and he’d get his request even if it wasn’t because he asked. The panda’s strike came as the boy floundered, the claws of a massive paw collecting its raiton with ease by comparison, bursting forth with a furious cacophony of sound from what had been silent brush a moment earlier. There were few places the summons would find to hide from their new pursuer down where they could also support Kai. Cobalt had been raised in the heart of Takijinsei, the forest was his domain.
[ Note: Cobalt’s Undetectable Ursine trait allows him to move silently through forested areas, and also prevents him from being seen by doujutsu while doing so. I’ll try to get this post format better sorted when I have more time. ]

Deconstructed Essence: When custom metal armors, weapons, and items are successfully reduced to iron sand by the deconstruction ability, the jiton user is able to retain [1] of the custom abilities of the original item in their iron sand for the duration of the battle. Up to [3] custom abilities from [3] separate weapons can be obtained in a single battle.

"I'd like to see you try." Miki replied back to the poisoner as her eyes flashed, a susanoo shield appearing momentarily infront of her to block the the boulders from hurting her. [ Uchiha Art: Shield of the Storm God | A Rank Spiritual ]"I hope he does." The Kyuubi cackled in the background. It seemed he was intent on torturing Miki by talking to her. Something she didn't have time for as she fought against the Poisoner. Her eye's darted around, watching everything she possibly could. The sudden formation of a trench below her resulted in her jumping away to avoid being pulled into the hole. [ Basic Dodge | A Rank ]'Just let him kill you already. It's inevitable.' The Kyuubi continued to badger on. Miki's pupils formed slits as she once again bent down onto her hands and feet, watching Kai's ragdoll body slam into the wall. 'Shut up. You don't know what you're talking about.' Miki replied to the fox only earning a laugh in response. 'I know more than you could ever know girl. I know when someone is weak.' Miki gripped the ground below her, digging her talons into the ground. "Shut up!" The girl yelled followed by a powerful roar that shook the very earth around Miki. The Poisoner flinched at Miki's scream; the genjutsu plagued his control, made it difficult for him to manage Kai and the assault on his chakra system at the same time. He felt himself losing control over the Jonin, though earth pillars rose around him at the same time he felt Kai's overwhelming cheer as the Jonin was celebrating early like he'd won. "Not that easy," The Poisoner growled. He leaned out of the hole in the building, but he didn't leave or evade the lightning shooting between pillars, gritting his teeth and baring it as it shocked the absolute s**t out of him. Kai could tank some physical hits because of his medical prowess, but the kid was absolute s**t at anything sustained, anything that hit him deep, and this did: the kid was watching his own squad try to take him down using lethal force. The Poisoner grinned as he bore the shocks, as the pain of it released him from the genjutsu Miki had used. He wanted to punish Kai for trying to resist him, but he was playing a dangerous game: every hit he took risked giving Kai an opportunity to take control.
"You play a beautiful game," he said, and it was unclear if he was speaking to Kai or his squad, "but sometimes you still lose." His lip curled in disgust as Sumika's bear hunted Senshu and forced the bird to return to his realm. "What now?" The Poisoner demanded of them. "When are you going to take the killing shot?" He wanted Kai to see it, to see his squad out for his blood incontrovertibly. But Kai was privy to the desires of The Poisoner, and he waited for The Poisoner's sick satisfaction at the momentary silence after his question to try and rip control away from him again.
Kai pushed forward with everything he had, taking control of his physical arm to pull a kunai out and stab it into his other hand, pinning his body to the ground between the pillars just in time to sustain another lightning bolt from it. The Poisoner snarling like an animal at the loss of control, but Kai wasn't done. "PLEASE," Kai cried out as he wrestled for control over himself, "I'LL KEEP HIM STILL AS LONG AS I CAN BUT I NEED YOU TO DO IT." His voice was strained to the point of hysterics, desperate for his squad to rip The Poisoner's control out by nearly killing him. He trusted his own medical prowess to fix it, or at least the hospital to fix it, but... but at this point, if they had to kill him... it was their duty. They had the power to protect the village. They had a responsibility to use it.

The sudden eruption of noise near him gave him a bit of a jolt, and snapped his head back into the fight. Luckily the source of this of noise was Cobalt joining the fray, and hopefully Himi wasn't one of his targets. Just as Himitsu had gathered himself once again, Miki's roar blasted over him and left him more than a little concerned for Miki, but far more concerned for Kai. While the younger boy hadn't exactly been pulling his punches, he'd been avoiding anything too serious, since this had been his friend and teacher. Miki on the other hand was going hard.
As the dust began to settle slightly, Himitsu turned his attention back to his earth-lightning prison. He spotted Kai as he walked into the lightning, and bear the brunt of it as he continued to mock and taunt them. Rage welled up in his chest as his opponent spoke, and pressure built up behind the boy's eyes as he gritted his teeth. The Poisoner's last remark about the team killing him finally got a response from Himitsu as the tomoe of his sharingan began to spin around his pupil rapidly. "Just stop talking for once!" His sharingan's rotation slowed and settled, revealing a second tomoe that had emerged. Himitsu's hands formed a seal and he took big breath in as their Kai spoke. Their friend's voice rang out, softer and more desperate than the dark persona that he'd been putting on up to this point. The sudden shift scared Himi, but he'd committed to his technique already, especially given he'd hoped it was still less lethal. A small but dense pocket of air [Turbulence [ Fuon ] | Rank A] shot from Himi's mouth as he exhaled, barreling toward Kai's head. "Stop... Talking..." His earlier fall was slowing him down considerably now, so he did his best to keep an eye out around him and try to see what came next for Kai.

With his task achieved, Cobalt slipped back into the trees - emerging in the little clearing where Sumika lay in an unconscious heap. The big panda nudged his little caretaker with a bit of a whimper, a process that, much to his dismay, returned no response from the puppeteer. A profound confusion crept over the bear momentarily as he attempted to decide what to do. The hospital was much farther away, but as large as he was Cobalt had no desire to tangle with the Kyubi absent Sumika’s presence. Like her, this encounter was not his first, and he was well aware how limited he was without the diminutive genin.
Big teeth found purchase under the woman’s belt and the back of her top as Cobalt lifted Sumika with ease and began a somewhat awkward attempt to navigate the forest towards the others without hurting her more, a process that proved obviously more difficult than slinking about on his own.

Miki was becoming more uncertain how much control she had over herself. Her body wanted to lash out and give in to Kai's demand of finishing him then and there. "Kill him. Kill HIM! KILL HIM!" Kurama's voice became louder and louder in Miki's head. The girl roared out again as she clenched the earth beneath her. She couldn't kill him. Kai was still one of their teammates and she couldn't be responsible for his death. No that wasn't the answer. "Stop waiting and kill him! He's begging for it!""No....No... I won't kill him!" Miki shouted back in her mind.
The Kyuubi laughed. "If it's not him, it'll be another. You Uchiha are all the same. Although you're only a pretender, you still bare the same curse." Why couldn't the damnable fox just leave Miki alone. This wasn't the time for his relentless taunting. Each word seemed to only drive her closer to the edge of releasing the Kyuubi. Outwardly this meant the formation of an additional tail, and Miki's overall appearance becoming more foxlike. 'I will never be the same as them.' Miki gritted her teeth and pulled as much will power as she possibly could to force her own chakra into the dirt beneath her. Then with a swipe of her hand the foo dog statues from earlier would spring into action once again to surround Miki. 'Thanks Sumika.' The girl thought to herself as a chakra barrier formed around Miki and began to absorb the Kyuubi's chakra. 'You can put me away girl, but I'll be here beneat the surface making your blood boil until you release me. Masato couldn't hold me and neither will you.' Kurama gave his final thoughts as the orange chakra slowly faded from Miki. Miki's sharingan focused on Himitsu who was attacking Kai. She could help.
The girl dropped from the chakra sphere with her legs spread slightly, obviously weak in the knees. "We can't kill him." Miki said mostly to herself as she raised her left hand in a slow motion, as she did so six tree roots would sprout around Kai and wrap around him. Once he was captured by the roots, Miki would move her hand again in a flourish resulting in spikes growing from the roots to hold Kai in place. Miki's eyes swirled, a second tomoe beginning to form from the stress the battle had placed on the girl. "Get him Himitsu!" Miki would call out to her squadmate , giving him some last encouraging words before she would collapse to the floor. She felt incredibly weak after having the Kyuubi forcefully put away by the foo dogs.
● Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads [ Fū inu no atama ] | Rank B-S+ A technique used to absorb a tailed beast's chakra. The user's chakra produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates ten pillars measuring ten feet in height which have Foo Dog heads carved atop them, each adorned with a burning candle wic. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues converge on their target, creating a spherical barrier around the user that contains them to a ten foot radius, being treated as two ranks higher in collisions coming from within. For every post that the target is trapped within the barrier they are drained of the user' body rank in demonic chakra or corrupt nature chakra and forcibly revert to a lesser transformed state each post until the transformation ends. Once the transformation ends, this technique also ends and the target has their transformation locked for five posts. This technique requires an upkeep cost equal to two ranks below executed rank. These spikes penetrate armor as though it were one tier lower and cause tier one trauma. If a target tries to escape through physical applications, the tier of trauma is elevated to tier two. Additionally, this can be used at higher ranks, elevating the trauma caused proportionately, extending the spikes by an additional six inches per rank applied. Finally, this technique applies tenketsu rot to bound targets. ●
