EARLY CHILDHOOD Cornelius started with a silver spoon in his mouth. His parents were rich and knew plenty of people. He was an early bloomer with his magic. He didn't like the dark and each time his parents tried turning the light out it would simply turn back on or not turn off at all. Even the electrician man couldn't find anything wrong with it! Maybe it was some of that weird stuff he sometimes heard his parents talk about? Sometimes more adults came to his home all dressed the same in robes like it was a costume party! He never got to join cause they were always in the secret room he wasn't allowed in. He tried to make friends with some of the funny dressed adults but they mostly ignored him.

One day there was a BIG visit. Extra adults! They all seemed super serious and would shoo him when he asked why. Though his parents said he would get to join him for this party! He went and grabbed his stuffed bunny. He didn't want to party without his friend! His parents gave him some juice in his favorite cup and told him to drink it before they went to do adult things. He didn't want apple juice so he secretly dumped it out and his parents seemed pleased thinking he drank it. They put him down for a nap and said after nap he could join them. Content, he snuggled his bunny and fell asleep

He awoke sometime later but it was really quiet. He looked around the house calling for Mommy and Daddy. He couldn't find them anywhere! He decided to be brave and go to the super-secret room. Hopefully, he wouldn't get in trouble. When he slipped in he saw everyone doing their own naptime. Daddy usually snored but he didn't hear that. He went to where Mommy and Daddy were sleeping and tried to wake them. Did he miss the party? He even tried shaking Mommy and got worried cause that always woke Mommy! Why didn't anyone wake up! He knew how to use a phone and called the emergency number he learned from Mommy and Daddy. They could wake everyone up, right?

Soon there was a lot going on and lots of strangers coming out with long bags. He was sitting with some adults hugging his bunny. Though some nice people came to talk to him and had some questions that he did his best to answer. He asked if Mommy or Daddy had woken up yet and that seemed to make them sad. They mentioned that they very likely wouldn't wake up. They also mentioned that they had a place for him to live till he found a permanent family, a place called Wools.

After a few years he came to understand his parents had died. He made friends with a nice couple that seemed fancy and rich. They even adopted him! He loved his parents but he wasn't sure if his dad's parents liked him. Daddy said they were that way with everyone. He was so happy getting his Hogwarts letter. Now he could learn all that fun magic
