[Excited Apathy]

Helaku whuffed through his nostrils softly as he bent his head, mane spilling in a dark fall to brush the ground as the stallion examined the basket that was his charge. It had stripes like his tail, but possessed Olathe's coloring...aside from the shining green button, which mystified Helaku somewhat. Neither he nor his mate had any green...but perhaps this was simply an odd basket.

His nose bumped gently into the wicker framework, causing a soft almost-whicker and faint sounds of rustling. Helaku smiled as he nickered quietly in reply. It seemed almost like the foal might be ready to emerge soon, and he was curious. Would it be filly or colt, what would he or she be like?

In a streak of brown, gray and tan young Critter dashed before Helaku and the basket. After he made his way to the end of the field he doubled back going around the back side of Helaku then comes to a stop in front of him and the basket. "What'cha doin'?" Critter asked as he peered curiously at Helaku.  

[Excited Apathy]

"Babysitting," Helaku replied promptly, head lifting as he looked at his herdmate's foal. "What about you, little Critter?" He wondered if the foal within the basket at his feet would be half as energetic as the one in front of him. Perhaps Mai would help him watch it...

Kajika ran quickly down the hill side, grinning softly in the sunlight taht rained down upon him. His creamy legs bathed in a sea of green as the grass tickled his sides. He laughed as he tucked his legs and rolled to the side, the sky becoming the ground and back again.

Today was a Good day.

He didnt know where his siblings where and he wanted to play. He had a whole valley to play in, under the protective eyes of his father.

Amaroq huffed a little as he charged out of a patch of woods, whirling around to glare angrily at the trees. Stupid things, grabbing at his mane and tail and tripping him...didn't they know he was Amaroq? He lived here!

Turning with a snort, his ears pricked at the sight of his brother. "Hey Kaji! What're you doing?" He trotted forward, light and dark feet moving in sync.

*Skipping time with Critter so Akila can come from her basket and he can be big* 4laugh

Critter stood close to the grassy hill that was just one end of the valley. He had been nibbling on some grass when a little colt ran past him and down into the valley. His head darted up and his ears perked as he watched anoher colt appear from the woods. He knew the pair had to be sons of Princess and Waya, they looked so much like them not to be. His long tail twitched and dragged on the ground. He had been that small not long ago and now he kind of missed it.
