A link I think could be useful for anime is www.surfthechannel.com since they have a specific section just for anime streaming, if anyone has shows they want to watch.

this site has hundreds apon hundreds of animes subbed and ready to download, including old to brand new. new good animes are subbed the day they come out in japan and put onto the site for download free of charge.
Theres also hundreds of mangas, forums, downloadable OST's Anime information, Detailed descriptions and more. You can also watch anime without downloading it on stream, but a pretty reliable sight to do that... Not all the time but alot of the time

Megavideo.com Has full anime eps to watch directly from the sight.

Crunchyroll for anime, Goodreads for book recs. AnimeNewsNetwork actually has the most comprehensive anime encyclopedia, also.
And Hulu and Netflix have anime, as well.

Legally licensed sites are good for watching anime while keeping your computer safe and you out of trouble.
Lavender recommended Crunchyroll, which I've used A LOT! Crunchyroll has a lot of free anime. The subscription service is great for staying ahead of the game. They also have dramas, which I recommend giving a try if you ever find the time (starting with Goong and My Left Eye Sees Ghosts). They also recently added a Manga section for Manga and Premium subscribers

Funimation- http://www.funimation.com/

Anime Network- Color marks will indicate free and non-free stuff

AnimeNewsNetwork actually has a few anime, now that I think about it...

Youtube has some free anime from the licencors

Viz- arguably not the best with subs
