honeslty i dont know why you even care why people worship 'satan'. and many people would say that your crazy for worshiping god. and "satan" in Theistic Satanism is viewed as a force for good that may be used for evil. Devil worshippers on the other hand, or 'reverse christians' as many Satanists refer to them, view themselves as enemies of "good" and servents of "evil" for satan who the view as bieng the god of all evil because they reject the idea that Theistic Satanism have of satan.

Theistic Satanists believe that satan gave humans the "forbidden" fruit of knowlage and view satan as both good and evil. Tey also believe that the birth of knowlage is knowing good and evil.. that is why they believe he is a force of good that can be used for evil. and they view satan being both male and female.

Anton Szandor LaVey is a widely known satanist who founded the Church of Satan and wrote The Satanic Bible ..... yes he does worship satan but he didnt 'sell his soul' to him or sacrifice animals or mock the christian religion. he actually rejects literally believing in( or worshiping) the christian religion's view of satan. he also rejected cruelty to animals and the black mass (which is a mass mocking the christian [or any] religion). He considered satan as being the human instinct within ourselves. Which LaVeyan Satanism celebrates: the human instinct. He views human beings as animals and doesnt support many social structers he believes to inhibit human instincts.

and i am not a satanist.... but i do agree with some of satanists (NOT devil worshippers) beliefs. so as to why people worship 'satan' it depends on their actually religion. i can understand why Satanists worship satan. devil worshippers i have nothing against but i dunno what there views of things are. mabey there just psychotic or find pleasure in things like that. i really dont care why they believe what they do either. but dont go saying its 'stupid' or 'crazy' to worship satan when religions other than yours have different views of 'satan'

and why shouldnt someone worship satan? you and many other catholics or chrsistians or w/e god believing religion you may be have been told since birth porbobly that satan is "evil" and you shouldnt worship in him cause youll eternally be damned or something liek that. so i ask you, why is it so wrong to worship satan? or even acknolage him as being anything other than an evil malicious being? is it because thats what the bible says? or because thats what your church preches every sunday? cuz honeslty i dont understand why u think its so wrong to view satan as being somehting other than an evil being? unless you believe in everything you hear in which case you should research things before you b!tch and moan about them on a website forum.

and did u ever think that mabey devil worshipers were actually rebelling against their parents or even their whole family for being brought up in a strict catholic home.

I myself do not believe in the Christian/Satan thing. For me, Amun-Ra is my equivalent of God as far as the highest of all divinities and sin doesn't come from an outside source, it comes from us. I don't blame my failures on some outside source like demons...my failures come from me and my desicions. Demons do exist and they do offer temptation, but it is the person who decides wether or not to follow or refuse temptation.
