Calling all Exalted Fans.
I want to play a Dragon Blood in a Dragon Blooded Game. If there's anyone out there who's interested in GMing, I'd love to play under you. Hell, I'll assist with the learning curve for second edition. I just really want to play, so here's hoping someone will step up to the plate ^_^

I've seen the other Exalted RP going on here, and was interested by it, but I still don't quite get the gameplay behind it...if you're willing to help me out, I'll give GMing a go...I mean, I think I'm a pretty good storyteller, and I know quite a bit of any "Ming" involved a high rank in storytelling >.> (Yes, I know, D&D reference, but that's where I started)

well, if your interested in running a game, I suggest you either buy or download the Exalted second edition core book and the Dragon Blooded book. Unlike DnD, the world here is pretty much premade for you, but there are areas prime for any sort of game you'd possibly be interested in. Even more important than understanding the rules is knowing the setting your getting into as this game is about the story, not killing the monsters. There's politics everywhere, and semi-midevil version of microsoft that dominates Trade in the world, there's nations and city states everywhere, and all of it has a history. Basically your looking at a lot of reading if your going into this blind, but if your willing, more power to you ^_^

sweatdrop Chances are I'm gonna be biting off more than I can chew (I'm reading up in preparation of my first DM session of D&D), but you can bet I'm still willing to give it a try...any chance you can point me to a good website to get what I need, or something?

The Wikipedia exalted section isn't bad. I'm actually a legit nazi though, so I don't know any direct torrent sites... I think one that has something to do with pirates in the name has a bunch of info though.

Cool, I'll see what I can do. I actually had Jimmy send me some info, but that was more on general Exalted stuff to get started as a player, not a GM...I'll check out Wiki, though, thanks for the heads up
