I would help but I think that poetry can not be inspired by other people, It simply comes to you...At least thats what I think when I do mine sweatdrop

perhaps goose, perhaps, but sometimes my parents or friends can inspire me when i'm writing poetry. i guess it's hard to pick a topic though if you don't know the person that well, sometimes it's easier to write what you know the most about.
