I think the xbox 360 is gonna win the console wars(just my opinion). The nintendo wii is gonna be awsome and im getting mine the release day but im just getting it for a few games i enjoy. I bought my xbox 360 because i know theres gonna be really DOOMY games comeing out soon like assasins creed, halo wars, and halo3. I guess it all matters on the kinds of games you like.

DevilHunterWolf I think I know why Xbox 360 isn't doing so well. What was the game that saved the Xbox? Halo. Just watch. As soon as Halo 3 comes out all the fans are going to camp out at stores and post their over the top insane love for Halo on all the forums they frequent. (And yes, I play Halo so don't jump all over me about how much you love it) Then the Xbox 360's current state will raise to where it can breathe better. But as far as all the next generation systems go, I think Nintendo is going to reclaim the video game industry. The PS3 is expensive (not that that's going to stop people from buying it), the Xbox 360 isn't showing too much, and both of them are essentially the same controller based action we're all familiar with. If the Wii can create games that appeal to everyone that they all enjoy, it will last and survive the console war and come out on top. That's just what I think anyway. Isn't showing much? I take it you haven't heard of Gears Of War?

That's just what I think anyway. ok lets consider your opinion on this lets say your ordering a meal would you get the same exact thing as everyone else? no. it is hard for one comapny to make a perfect line of games. just like a steak you might like it one way(rare medium, ect) also you havce to consider not everyone likes the idea of swinging a remote around so if nintendo was smart they would make a gamecube type controller for people who dont like the remote style controller

I have an Xbox360 and it is yet to fail me now. No it can not play the old Xbox games but I believe with a addon thing you can play the older games (Least what I heard I'm not entirley into the whole Xbox360 thing) Thw Nintendo Wii looks deliciouse <3 I can't wait for twighlight princess. I was sooooo angry when they held it back 5 million times ;_; it was suppossed to be for the gamecube bastards... Anyway I love my PS2 and I've been looking at the PS3. It's just like well you know wink Anyways I'm just gonna buy a used one 5 years from now, the price will surely bump down to $200 O_o I'm in no rush really.
Anyways not all the systems are perfectly made, they have there differences, and if Nintendo or Sega were to make a new system I would go for them first before microsoft or Sony. But that's just me <_<;

i have a excelent way to describe this situation
say you have a car and it doesnt work does that mean all varietys of that same make are bad no it means your car had a fulty something that screwed with its internal mechinisims so just go and ask for a refund

i wouldnt say 360 is a bad system but i dont htink i will get one because basically all that game system has on it are shooters and ports games and i dont really like either of those

I have no real desire to purchase an Xbox 360, being that 90% of its good games are also available for the computer... Why buy a 400 dollar system when I can play a game on my 4,000 dollar computer of doom? The only games that aren't for the computer that I kind of want to play is Dead Rising and Gears of War, and I don't want it enough to purchase an entire system for. Assuming they release a bunch of good games in the future, I'll probably end up buying it someday - Which is my policy for the Wii and the PS3 too, coincidentally.

the systems you speak of must be first gen. of it. i got one about a month ago and it never has had a problem loading games and reg. xbox games that i have work fine. it just downloads updates. besides what xbox games are really playable anyways? gta adn halo 1&2 so why complain. besides what game is better than gears of war? come on razz sega is sweet though. wii is amazing and ps3 is just kinda a big risky move by sony trying to outdo everyone else. but good on them. biggrin

Angelic Light Blue Well, that's gay. They should all work. They should all work, like all of Sega's systems, and all of Nintendo's systems. And Sony is the same as far as I know. MICROSOFT SUCKS. EVEN AT VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS. AND I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE COMPUTERS. NOPE, I'M WRONG. WELL, OKAY, EFF YOU MICROSOFT. APPLE, SEGA, AND NINTENDO ALL THE WAY. Hey, PS3 may be over-priced, but at least it works. whee Well... We don't know yet, but it probably will be. Yeah, mine keeps shining freakin' lights of crap all the time, and only sometimes does it work. Question: How much do they sell for if they work like crap? 'Cuz if it's over $200, hell yes. wow you retard, i love how you compare next gen to old school. the demands inside the system are much greater than they were back then and have more problems, you cannot say that a genesis or snes even compare to the 360.
