If I'm not mistaken, I think that technically you're only really allowed to obtain said unmentioned ROMs by dumping them yourself.

SNES9X should be able to load a ROM, even if it's still in a ZIP file.

But, where you get it can make a difference. Sometimes you don't really get what you think you're getting.

I agree, I would try getting the rom again, preferably from another site.
