I'm trying to learn the basics when it comes Thai. I have a lot of Thai friends, and I'm visiting Thailand in 2008. I don't know much yet, but I hope to know enough to get around when I go to the country. So far I can say hello, goodbye, just kidding, ear, foot, eye, eyebrow, back and lighter. Random I know.

I'm Thai, just can't read or write. Err...I guess I could TRY and write some phrases that might help you. Oh, btw, get some friends to come with you when you go shopping. You'll need them. domokun
How much is this? - Ani ta lai? (Yes, I'm trying to spell it by sound.) Where is the bathroom?- Hong nam yoo nai?
Yeah...I'd forgetten some of the more useful phrases..but hell, bathroom above all right? domokun
