i wish that i
could turn back time
and realize what you meant to me
you will live on forever
i know that i will never
be with you again
maybe thats why i
feel like i could lay down and die
it wasnt supposed to be this way
you were never supposed to leave me
i wish i could see
you and how much you meant to me
now im wishing i
could turn back time

came up with it from this dream i had last night about my step sis. it was sad.

i can't remember what i was thinking. anyway whenever you see a peom about someone whose lost a loved one its usaully told from the point of view of the person whos still living so i decided to post my poem about the same topic from the point of view of the one whos passed on instead.

No offense or anything but ive read a good mighty number of poems in my days.
And you could use a little work, the format is shaky.
You built it on a crumbling foundation.
you couldve used the way you rhyme a lot better,
and frankly for someone who's illiterate
using the letter "u"for "you".
i dont even see how you could have written those poems,
you didnt use the letter"u" for the word in the poems.
why not in the poems. And why in the forums.
Sorry if this offended you in any way.
I just dont see how its possible that it could be like that.
If you did write those, keep trying,
cause you have a little spark of potential,
if not, the person who did should be highly
offended that their work was stolen and every
word of emotion they have used, is left
in the hands of someone who couldn't
even dream to understand all the pain
that they must've went through
