La Belle Isolde Um, I guess I'll show off. These are all from my deviantART page. They are shown oldest to newest. _________________________________________________________________ Hay coloured hair tracing down her back Carefully braided together by her daughter's handsA line project for my art studio class. The assignment was to make a 100 foot line in nature. For the record this is the very first time I've ever french braided anything. _________________________________________________________________ This is a photomanipulation I did at 5 a.m. because I couldn't get this song out of my head: Sailing Seas Abandoned Pools
Damn this destiny And damn this twist of fate And damn its 5 A.M. and I'm still awake You're haunting me I know its hypocrisy but this is not easy And this is not what we were supposed to be
So haunt me You should know that I'll be Sailing seas of regret I cant listen to that CD anymore
To hell with irony To hell with subtlety Cause I don't have time To mince words anymore I was there I'm crouched down in the hall My ear up to the wall I can hear you forgetting about me
So haunt me You should know that I'll be Sailing seas of regret I cant listen to that CD anymore
Haunt me Wasn't very easy When he took you from me And I cant listen to that CD anymore Since you walked out my door
Was it certain death When he took off your dress When he finished your cigarettes
So haunt me You should know that I'll be Sailing seas of regret I cant listen to that CD anymore_________________________________________________________________ This is a series from my art studio course. Our original assignment was to make a still life out of whatever monochrome white objects we could find. Then we had to destroy it and document the destruction of our still lives. Believe me, after drawing this twisted thing repeatedly for exercises I was ready to just beat it to death. Sorry for the quality, its very difficult to photograph these. Medium: Vine and compressed charcoal _________________________________________________________________ I was browing for stock photos for another piece and the image of the bloody eggshell just caught me by surprise and I decided I had to use it. The dead bird photo was something I took myself.
Wow, I'll most definitely have to check out your dev. art page later. You're a very brilliant artist. As are everyone here. ^_^

@Celes: Alrighty, let's get crackin'. biggrin
Her nose is too short. It should protrude more from her face, have a more rounded tip, and assumin that you're going for more of a realistic approach (though you've disregarded the nostrols), there should be more of a dip at the top of the bridge before the forehead.
The eye is too tall, and being that this is a side view, too wide. It should also be scooted farther back on the head.
The space between the chin and neck is too small, and the neck isn't supposed to be perfectly up-and-down straight. It's at more of an angle from a side view. Also, the cheekbone should take a turn upwards at the ear, not continue to follow the head outline.
Again, from a side view, the arms are not placed at the back of the torso. She should have more back muscles showing. Also, the boobs are too...perky? Her chest shouldn't extend that far from her face unless she's sucking air in really tight.
To help you out, though it's semi-realism, you might find this to be a really useful picture. ^_^ Good luck, Celes! You've got a good start.
@Xik: Thanks, Xikky! whee I'm glad you liked them!
