I figure that sometimes you 'love' someone because that's the person that's going to make it easier for you to live. Lust is sometimes confused with love because, to be frank, lust is the want, the desire, to just 'do it'. You normally love things that make you happy, right?

Love is not just a bunch of chemical reactions and it's not all just in your head. It's in your soul and your very being and it grows the longer you allow it to exist. And it is very patient. If love is rushed then it is not love, it is desperation.

yay!!
okay but seriosly I'm going to explain what I figure is the ultimate truth on this manner.
We're humans right? Well yeah....Anyway I saw this on walking with cavemen. When we had evolved to homo erectus and were running across the savahna naked it wasn't the promise of food and security that braught us together but the sociable bonds we shared together. Humans who spend alot of time together generally like each other enough from not beating the crap out of each other. Love is just a feeling you get thats a sort of "nudge" from your brain telling you "hey this person is alright!.....lets have sex with them!!!"
