Right, well, sometimes I frequent the SF forum. Went there just now, and saw like 5 threads about Summer Event, John Cena, stuff like that.
"WTF?" I thought to myself, and went to one of the topics. The person was complaining about the event, said something about there being no announcement, and said something about the home page.
So, next stop = Gaia's home page. There, I saw something like "Summer Slam event - chat with John Cena!"
"WTF?" I again thought to myself, and clicked the banner, which went here.
Uh...yeah. Just in case y'all didn't know about it, because I wouldn't have known if I hadn't have happened upon threads in the SF forum.
EDIT: I wonder if Gaia didn't get a sponsorship from the WWE (unlikely, but how cool would that be?), or if this "John Cena" is gonna be like "Ron Bruise" (I know John Cena's an actual "celebrity" name, whereas Ron Bruise was a parody, but I mean like, a celebrity-type person to introduce a storyline like with the Zurg).
EDIT-EDIT: In the "Welcome" thread for that forum, l0cke said that it is actually, really John Cena...I'm still skeptical, though I can't think of a time when the admins outright lied to us...but look at l0cke's avatar! =O

My reaction:
"WTF?" Ah. I don't, so I wouldn't have known about it 'til like tomorrow. Oh good, it wasn't just me xD Have you seen Lanzer and l0cke's new avatars? =O Dunno if any of the other admins have been revamped, but dang-o...Lanzer looks like Bruce Lee xd Knitters - I know, it's horrible. There are so many flamers gonk I've been a WWE fan since it was the WWF...I remember when Undertaker was still the new guy xD I was thinking that, too (the whole Gaia-being-sued-if-it-is-fake thing), but then I started thinking - what if it was a sponsorship? Then I think they might be allowed to create and use a John Cena avatar (like they made a Mimzy/Blue Dragon/Nancy Drew avatar...I really don't think it was really Nancy Drew behind the avatar xD)...but then again, wrestlers are people too and people use the internet ^.^ So I really have no idea, but I'm assuming he's the real deal. |
