I don't really know, it's not something I've devoted alot of time to thinking about. To be honest, I don't think I much care as long as it's nice. xd I prefer a day spa and an exotic male Masseuse who's hands never get tired.... THAT's where I'm going... I'll send you all post cards....

As far as I know, nobody's ever come back from being dead to tell us, so I think I'll stick with the worm-food theory.

Well, to me, your body gets raped by Maggots, but as for what ever state on being you take on after death, i think you will go where ever you think you will go. if you think nothing happens, you cease to exist, heaven? you go to heaven? Valhalla? You go there you lucky Viking!

Angels Requim Well, to me, your body gets raped by Maggots, but as for what ever state on being you take on after death, i think you will go where ever you think you will go. if you think nothing happens, you cease to exist, heaven? you go to heaven? Valhalla? You go there you lucky Viking! hah that would be nice. so I guess I really WILL be partying in hell with jimi hendrix, janice joplin, and jim morrisson. smile j/k no seriously, wouldnt that be nice? to really believe you will go somewhere specific and based on that, that's what actually happens? I read a book about a guy who did a long series of studies on children who claimed to remember past lives, and what's weird is those cultures who deeply believe actually have more instances of such memory (mostly of the hindu persuasion). so who knows, maybe it's possible that what happens depends on ones deep seated beliefs. when it comes to something only the dead know, I think almost anything is possible.

figure when you die you go up to the gates after the tunnel and theres saint peter and he's got his big a** book and he's all "hey there! We've bine expecting you! Come on into the lobby and we'll get you situated alright?" and ya go into heavens lobby and it's one giant grassy beautifull field with one single tree in the middle, and sitting at the tree is the gods you beileve in (for familitary purposes only). Lets say I walk over to buddha he's being fat and sassy with his robe and sweater nitted and given to him as a haunikka gift from jesus while eating pan-cakes and watching "crim watchers", and he goes "well hey there bro! Whats up? Sit down have some pancakes..they sell like hot cakes! lololol!!" and ya sit down next to buddha cause jesus is busy doing his income taxes at home because he's a busy god and god himself is surveying human evolution while running on his tred mill from his estate making sure we evolve to be all we can be. Anyway buddha asks "you want to um..be reincarnated? Mabye have another run at the game we call life bro?" and you could come back as somthing and he'd say "well we got a open spot for..an elephant..a tiger..oh the aurochs is making a come back!" I'd disagree and be all "no thanks..I think I'll stay in heaven for a few more centuries see how things play out..mabye after the end of the world" buddha would smile "oh bro thats a risky choice but whatever it's all cool. Have a look around."
Anyway I figure heaven is an eternal sleeping dream of endless adventure, and pleasure doing whatever you desire.
*I copy pasted this off of myself from the other death topic that you probebly didn't even bother reading. If you did then it was a shame you missed my post since I put alot of effort passion and imagination into it.

My theory is purely based around souls.
Now, whether there is a divine being, or anything like that is to be determined at your death, or maybe even not then.
But, I believe there is an after-life whether you disappear from existence or go to heaven/hell or just float around as a ghost. I don't think you are reborn into another body and I definitely don't think we're in a "matrix".
The after life isn't the scary thought for me, nor is dying, but what sort of impression I've left on the Earth and how people will perceive me before I die is what scares me.

My mind is too logical to believe in someone having an afterlife of their own. I believe that when you die, that's it, you just die.
However, that's not to say we don't have an afterlife of a sort; although we ourselves do not live on, we live on in the minds of other people, through everyone who remembers us.
I do not mean that our soul lurks around in other peoples' minds; simply that if people remember us, then in a way, we are still alive.
I also believe that we live on in another way; through our actions. Everything we've ever said and done has affected the world and the people in it, probably more than, and in such seemingly far-fetched ways that, our puny human minds could not even begin to comprehend it.
It might be that we say something which sparks an idea in someone's head, and 50 years later, a war breaks out. One might say that we indirectly caused that war.
Therefore, one can never truly die; never actually cease to exist, because people will always be saying and doing things, as long as there are people, and somewhere far down the line, we were probably - inadvertently - involved.

Personally I believe in reincarnation after death because it makes sense with how people come back, so instead of sitting up in heaven where it's paradise or some such we return to life after death because I've noticed that younger relatives seem to act like deceased ones at least according to those in my family that knew them and I'm sure it's not just related to a single family so it makes sense to me.
