I was an idiot D: I received this PM and clicked the link



Apparently I got what's called a "cookie grabber" and i panicked D: I quickly cleared my cookies and changed my password twice. I still don't know if this is enough but i desperately need advice on what else i should do.

Oh christ soul... DX hm well changing your password twice is brilliant, id change it another two times for good measure making it something youd remember adding symbols, capitals, numbers anything that would make it hard for someone to guess to be honest. Other than that you deleted your cookies which is good, report that pm and as for anything else there really is not much else i could suggest you have changed your password and deleted your cookies which is a good barrier and reporting it really is the only other thing i could suggest.

i do not follow links through anymore, i check properties or follow the link through on a mule with nothing on.. but usually i delete those messages now. heart

crap i knew there was something i was forgetting i did that and then forgot the flipping password and the email address is deactivated on the mule lol. so now am waiting for gaia to get back to me highly annoying i want my headband, staff of angels and demonic stuff back grrr

but sounds like your doing everything you can, i hope it goes ok hun she or he should be shot with a double barrel shotgun heart

That would be my suggestion 3nodding And then probably change the password on the mule a few times, for good measure...but maybe I'm just paranoid like that ^.^

Change the password on the mule, and always check the source of a link before you click it (from a stranger).

You were smart with the deleting the cookies/password thing. I doubt she'll get your items.
