Anime or watching anime is not a disease. But if you're addicted to it then that's the disease. People are addicted to porn also. But Porn itself is not a disease. The addiction is.

Hmm.. I think that wha the meant by "anime is a disease" is that, once you start watching it, most of the time you'll get addicted to it..
So in a way, it's like a "disease" but not no much.
Everyone has their own opinions of things, and I think that your friend in a way, is right.
Well, I guess I'm basically just saying what Naztakuan just said, but yea. That's pretty much what I was trying to get at. :0
