Today I was at lunch reading my AP magazine when suddenly out of no where the person sitting next to me points to a picture of "Escape the Fate" (band) and yells "Those guys are ******** faggots!" I was a bit confused and asked him why because I couldn't understand his logic in thinking this. He replied "Because most straight guys don't dress like that." I was quite aggravated by this because most of my friends dress the way they do and they're 100% straight. Hell I dress like that sometimes. I tried to argue by saying "Well most gay guys don't dress like that either" but being the close-minded person he is, he simply refused to take in any of what I was saying.

Why or why not?
Does it really matter?

No, I don't think they're gay. I don't think I've seen many gay people dress like this xd Or straight people but... w/e, that's besides the point =o This type is clothing is more like... I guess goth / punk... whatever you wanna call it xd Straight / Gay people could be goth or punk xd Soooo therefore you can't make the assumption that they're gay just because of their clothes blaugh

Are they gay? Who knows, you cant tell from the picture. Are they putting out an image which they hope will appeal to a certain audience? Definately.

To me they look goth/emo, not gay >.< Even if i was going on stereotypes, gay should be more colourful xd

I'll say this - it doesn't matter and the clothes don't scream gay to me. It's more of their poses and pouty lips they make me think, hmmm, not very masculine.

Eh, most of them don't look gay. It's not the clothes that would make me think it, but the pose the guy in front is doing is a little...dunno.

And even if they were it wouldn't matter because gays are not only awesome, but about 90% of them are hotter than straight guys. C'est la vérité.
