Drowning in misery.
The nightmare begins when you close the door.
You sat in your angry chair and just tried to be you.

So, I've been waiting for this day for about 2 weeks now. Today is my birthday! ^-^ My brother and I turned 23 today. I know. It's 23. Trust me, I know. It's not all that special, but I like birthdays. ^-^ Who doesn't like free stuff from parents and friends, right? Anyways. I just thought I'd share with everyone and let you in on some advice. If you're 20 or younger, CHERISH IT! There's only 3 things to look forward to after 21; a tax break at 25, mid-life crisis, and death. And, we all know that those things aren't really that fun, right? xd

The needle became your queen;
The drug had become your enemy
And music was just a way for you to bleed.

Happy Birthday. I've only got 3 years until 23 myself, which doesn't seem all that long away when I look back on how fast it's gone since I was 18!

Yay. ^-^ Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. It's been a splendid birthday with the exception that I was sober all day and not one joi...err..smoke all day. >-> Other than that, it's been great. Cake and ice cream; family togetherness and all that stuffz.
