SRSLY.So, who knew Dumbledore was gay? I for one didn't - as I've yet to even read the first Harry Potter book all the way through - but I must say, damn this is going to be fun. heart Ah, and for whoever wants to bring up some argument at "why should it matter," just STFU. Pervs + gay old wizards = fun.

I found out Friday night, and was mind-raped. gonk
I started reading Harry Potter when I was ten. I feel like if she was going to do this, she should have written it into the books; now it only feels like she's trying to get attention. I wouldn't have cared that he was gay if she'd made it part of his character.

But here's whats odd. I found this on google.

“Dumbledore is gay,” the author responded to gasps and applause."
Just because hes gay, doesn't mean he cant find true love. Why would she use this as an answer?
Another question: Will Dumbledore's actor start acting gay in the movies?

its an interesting twist to a finished series. Possibly just done to keep people talking about, buying, and reading the series. Like a few of the people who posted on the forums in the links, im wondering why this was barely detectable in the stories

I think it's all so she can sell more books and get more attention for her series. I don't think it was apparent in the books at all, so for her to say that now seems like it would just be for more press.
