ok...this one is not so good...i did it at two am cuz i couldnt sleep so...here goes:

or am I?

run and hide,
across the world so vast,
try to kill me stab in my side,
fret not love, you won't be the last.

try to slay me,
throw me off a cliff,
ill sprout wings and fly,
and ill catch a whiff,
that whiff is death,
but i can't die.

i am invincible,
a god,
a demon,
a hero.

call me what you like,
i am only human.

i am alive!
or am i...?

Unspoken Memories

so many things left unsaid,
sometimes think i'd rather be dead,
the memories fade,
deep thought is required to summon her face,
never here,
always there,
difficult to remember the words that she gave,
reminiscing of the days we shared.

these events perturb me,
set fire to my soul,
to keep them alive i write them all down,
my tears melting paper,
forgetting what i've said.

if only memories never faded,
and hope never died.

so much pain,
my soul left out to dry,
i want to stop it,
just to keep from crying.

remember the words,
keep playing the game,
this accursed game called LIFE.

try to end it and fly away,
only for you i choose to stay,
my heart aches,
soul quakes,
wanting to end,
needing to lie.

i have just one question,
a defeated sorry cry,
"why?"

Creatures of Substance

Shadows in the darkness,
wraiths in the night,
they revel in our sorrow,
in our pain they delight.

We kill at our leisure,
And they howl with pleasure,
So loud that we hear,
Instilling bone-chilling fear.
