As She Lies Awake


As she lie
s awake
she cries,
wondering what else
they can take;

She lays in her bed
just wishing
and wondering what
it would be like if she were dead;

She wishes she could
just sleep,
and never awaken
she thinks that would be good;

Sitting in the darkness
razorblade in hand stinging pain on her wrist
as blood runs down her hand
she slowly wastes into a dark and lonely abyss;

End

My heart broke
when i saw you,
you hurt me so much
and it takes so much more
than you have to mend it
back together;

Life is harder
since you left
but now i can
be sure that
you are free from the
pain of this world;

The world wont
stop spinning now
that you are gone
and time wont stop
at the moment that you left
but we will really miss you;

We think death
is the end
but it is
only the beginning
of the
End

These Found Shards

As she cries
her tears become ice
numbing her face,
she feels as if she cant breath
her pain;

She wishes she could bury
with the roses she is turning into ash
while she begins to turn into stone...
in her fear she shakes;

She cries out in despair
What did I do wrong? she screams into the empty air
What did I do wrong?
watching healplessly as a rose petal is so wrathfully torn from her fingers
by a dry wind;

It is going to rain
she sighs

This one is very special to me.... its for my friend... He died to young.... far to young... never even got a chance to get out of high school

I Walk in the Rain
Dedicated to Matthew 'Matt' Randall

They ask why
I walk in the rain
it is simple really
I walk in the rain
so no one can see me cry;

My heart it breaks
more and more everyday you are gone
but no matter how long it takes
I will try to move on
wit my life;

People may laugh.
People may joke,
but that only makes it worse
I may stumble and choke
and who is there to help me up?

I will try
to forget my pain,
but it is hard you know
sometimes when I am alone I think:
'Nobody should have gone that night!'

Tears

Long ago I was told I was loved
Back then I said I love you too
When I cried from things of long ago
I was told I cried crystal tears
But I no longer believe in love
Unless it's the love of family
Now I am merely a shadow of my former self
And I no longer know what love is
The tears that let lose though rarely
Are no longer crystal tears
The last to see my tears
Gasped and said,
"You cry tears of blood!"
And I replied,
"I know, for when I cry,
My very soul cries with me as well…"

Okay this one i wrote after i told the love of my life how i felt about him


Damage

I finally told you
about how I felt
I'm kinda still
afraid of getting hurt;

Life is easier now
you share my feelings
and I'm jumping for joy
I really love the feeling;

I'm still jumping
beacuse i have
a reason for living
and that reason is you;

You melted the ice around my heart
and broken all my barriers
I thought it to be impossible,
but I guess you did;

I really care for you
and i give you my heart
but it still has a few cracks,
so please dont do much damage.

my heart feels like it's been wrenched in two,
strange though,
it isnt new,
I've felt it before in a soul long forgotten,
my dreams they are haunted by futures from the past,
and I wonder as I lay here,
bleeding from my heart:
"will this be the last...?"

your poems have inspired this and I am thankful forever to you. it started as a comment but wound up a poem...hope you dont mind me posting it here... sweatdrop I feel much lighter now... it feels...odd...but good... thank you
