HELP!! IM CONFUSED BOUT THE BOTTLE I BOUGHT!!

so i bought the 5th gen bottle now my only concern is will it still evolve or is it stuck in 5th gen cause if it is IMA GONNA CRY

it should still evolve, my green egg is 2ed gen and its evolving.

now the next question is...is my 5th gen one of the starting gens or should i have gotten the 2nd gen and let it go to fifth IM SO CONFUSED...does the bottle go 5th to 2nd or 2nd to 5th

to my understanding the higher generation yer item is the longer it takes to evolve.

The higher-generation items, as far as I know, take the same amount of time to evolve as the lower-generation items. It's just that the earlier generations have already had time to evolve, so they have more evolutions available to them at this point in time.

The generations of the individual bottles don't change. Think of the generations of the bottles like generations in people. The first generation is like the first generation of people, then the second would be their children, then the third gen. is grandchildren, etc. They'll all be adults eventually (meaning that the bottles will all reach their final evolution stage), but the earlier generations were "born" first, so they'll hit the end first.
