FG4PG New Guild LOGO design contest!
yay!
so, as most of you know, we're revamping the home page ((yes, we realize we've been working on it for a while...YOU CAN'T RUSH GREATNESS!))...if you didn't know this, then you must've been under a rock somewhere or new.
anyway! we've decided that we need a badass guild logo or crest of some sort for our front page.
something that screams "we are fg4pg and we are the coolest guild YOU'LL ever join!" something that somehow demonstrates our eclectic funkiness! something that says "we're here, we're crazy, get used to it!"
and then we thought "hey, we have TONS of mega-talented artists in the guild! why not ask one of them?"
however, there are SO MANY talented artists, that we could never figure out who to ask...and of course there's the issue of hurting people's feelings over NOT being asked, etc.
so, here's how this is gonna work! if you'd like to participate, please draw something full of kickassery and then put it in this thread. YES, you can stamp "sample" all across it if you're really that paranoid.
we'll keep the contest open for two weeks to give everyone time to come up with and design their piece!
then, at the end of those two weeks, our most glorious supreme commander, saku, will choose the winner!
that winner will not ONLY have their artwork displayed on our front page WITH CREDIT, but they'll also receive an awesome prize that saku will graciously bestow upon them from his massive hoard of cool items. 3nodding idk what it'll be yet because he hasn't told me, but once he does, i'll put it in here...
or maybe it'll just be a surprise, idk. 3nodding
so, artists, get crackin'! bragging rights, awesome elite items, fame and fortune await!
((also, if you don't think you're skilled enough to enter the contest, please do so anyway! who knows, it might just strike saku as coolio, or it might strike me as something so cute/thoughtful/awesome/whatever to deserve a prize in its own right, even if we DON'T use it. heart ))
EDIT: we are extending our contest until we have at least TEN entries! so there! don't like it, stfu. scream
