I thought it might be interesting to have a "lost and found" for recipes that you remember, but not in enough detail to fix. For instance, my mother used to make a cake that had meringue all around it. She put the meringue all around the inside of an angel food pan, then baked the cake inside that. So when it was done, the cake was already iced with a layer of meringue. I believe it was called a Meringue Cradle Cake. She is no longer with us, and I have no idea where that recipe is. Anybody have a recipe for something like that? Or have a recipe that they would like to find?
