The most epic band I have ever heard is Winds Of Plague. The keyboard comes in at just the right time. So what else do you think is epic?

Escape the Fate, I'm in love with those boys. :3 Their guitar player, Bryan, is amazingly talented. (Not that the rest of the band isn't or anything like that, it's just that I'm obsessed with his guitar skills.)

More good metal would be killwhitneydead, and Waking the Cadaver.
Oh, and 36 Crazyfists. They're one of my favorites at the moment... although they're quite a bit different from the latter. :}

The most epic song ever has to be Apocalyptica's remake of Metallica's "One".
Something about the cello makes that song so much cooler and more eerie

"We Are Stardust" by Matthew's Southern Comfort is as epic as it gets, mainly because of the lyrics.
"Carry on Wayward son" and "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas are both in second place, it's a draw between the violin in "Dust in the Wind" and the piano in "Carry on Wayward Son"

My favorite band, no doubt, has to be Dir en grey. I'm at a three-way tie for my favorite song from them, between Machiavellism, Ryojoku No Ame, and Garbage. I love the fast parts in between the somewhat slower verses in Garbage and Machiavellism. 8D

Band: Bullet for my Valentine (no I don't listen to a lot of metal)
Song: Tears Don't Fall by BFMV, because it has good lyrics, and it has a slow part then a metal part and a nice fusion between the two.
