It's Raining, It's Pouring...

Okay, so I was playing my Pokemon Pearl today; exploring a bit so my Chingling would like me more. But I went to Route 213, to the right of Pastoria, and it's raining!

I uploaded my main game, Diamond, and it was raining there, too! WTF? When was it raining?

I believe there are some weather effects that happen depending on the day.

For example, on one day (the birthday of a Nintendo Pokemon group... director, perhaps?) the snow over Snowpoint City changes from the usual snow to a powdery "diamond dust" effect.

Actually, he's talking about the route on the other side of Pastoria, where it isn't usually raining.

However, you are correct that it does always rain in the swampy area.


Might as well post this link, which also talks about Diamond Dust but also mentions rain in unusual areas.
