A blanket of snow has settled over the "WNW" - Why Not World. As its inhabitance retreat to the warmth and comfort of their homes, a certain Christmas cheer seems to be in short supply. The only way to bring the spirit of Christmas to the locals is with some merry carolling, and that's just what you're here to do!
The event will open Monday, December 15th and will run all the way until Friday, January 2nd. That way everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy the contest at their leisure.
Explore the Why Not World and bring Christmas cheer to all its inhabitance by singing your heart out. Carol your way to victory!
When you encounter an area that has dreary inhabitants just waiting for a jolly pick-me-up, you will see an image of carollers in the second post of the thread. The second post will also tell you to generate a random number. You must generate the random number as directed. The number you get is the your score for that location. If you make a mistake do not delete your post! Simply make a second post with the correct values.
You may have noticed a glitch that brings up a strange screen when you attempt to generate a random number. You can still generate a number though! Just press the preview button and everything should be hunky-dory once more. You can enter the values and post normally.
When you have visited all of the locations (or some of them) and made your random numbers then you should post your final score HERE. You may want to write your scores down as you go along to make things easier. When the contest is over the crew will verify the top three scores to determine the winners. Please do not report a false score because it won't do anything but waste time since we will verify the top scores. If you don't post your final tally we will not go through all of your posts to find it for you, it would simply be too much work for us.
To ensure that the contest is fair and no one is cheating deleting your posts shall be prohibited. This can't be stressed enough. Please edit your post if need be or if you accidentally entered the wrong values for generating a random number then go ahead and make a second post. We will be checking the logs periodically to make sure no one is deleting their posts in the WNW subforum.
Every participant will receive a prize!! It may not be a very good one. But that entirely depends on how many participants there are. I hope we have a good turnout. Those who participate but only go to a couple locations will naturally recieve a lesser prize than those who went to most or all of the locations, but didn't achieve 1st-5th place status.
Our grand prize winner will recieve an all-new Water Meat Set!!
Two runners up will get a delicious Spirited Candy Cane.
Fourth and fifth place will recieve a tasty Peppermint Lollipop.
Now that's SWEET!
