YAY FOR INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS
This is mainly a topic for Europeans, but if you've visited Europe you can post/PM me too. 3nodding
Ok, so I'm asking for some help from you guys! I am doing a project in class where I have to plan a trip to Europe for two weeks, visit 3 countries, and visit several historical places, natural attractions, and some cultural places too. MY BUDGET IS 5,000 USD FOR THE WHOLE TRIP.

I have chosen the following as my countries to visit:
Sweden
Hungary
Romania

I am pretty sure Than is from Sweden, correct me if I've gone bananas. Other than him and Squee, I don't know too many European Gaians! So, I was wondering if ya'll would like to help me get some information. Just simple questions that are just better if answered by people who know the continent, not Google. xd

Example Questions:
What currency does Sweden/Hungary/Romania take?
Are there any notable tourist attractions in that country I must see?
Do you know of any good restaurants/hotels that I could go to?
Any tips on traveling throughout these countries, or Europe in general?
What Airports do you recommend in that area?

You get it, right? I need to get flight information, train tickets, etc. Just looking to make my little "project" as realistic as possible. I didn't want to copy everyone else by going to England, France, and Italy. BORING. I know I may not find anybody in here who can help me, but it doesn't hurt to try. It's also fun to imagine going on this trip to some of my favorite countries. xd

sadly, i don't know much about sweden, hungary, or romania, but i know stuff about germany because i was going to go there.
did you know that in germany the drinking age is only 14?

Yes, I do. xd I am part German, and my class was like, "I AM GOING TO GERMANY TO DRINK."

They drink anyway, so I don't know why they flipped out.

I am part german, part irish, and part native american, but of the places that my family is from, i have only lived in america
I want to go to germany and ireland, but the plane ticket is way too much. I even started learning german for my trip. i still know enough to order a beer or get a pet, but i don't remember much

I know NO German at all...none...nada...zip...zero. xd

But I'm learning Spanish and Japanese, plus I already know English.
