What do you name your characters?

For myself, I usually gave characters the default name, and my own name when they didn't have one. Lately I've been giving characters their own name. I might go back to what I did later though.

I used to change characters' names when I was a kid but these days I just keep the default names.

"I normally name the characters with swear words. That way, whenever another character is talking to that one, it looks like they're cussing out the character. xd "

And then...she faded to darkness.

I usually leave the default names, but if the the name really doesn't matter than I use Zeta.

I tend to use a variety of names, the most common ones are: wish, Z, well, and sometimes I use Kia. in some instances I do use default names.

In normal RPGs, I give them default names.
In MMOs, I give them one of a few names. Most common are:
Male - XanderTelmis
Female - YumeTheDream

i usually name my female characters michi or michiyo and my male character names vary...

Default names if they have them.

Or Ame (sometimes Phae)

I use name of guns, tanks, and aircraft.

unlike first reich boy above me i prefer vulgar names that offend, insult or that are politicaly incorrect in any and every way possible =D

But if there is no default I tend to name them after characters I made up ^^

lol i did that on animal crossing once, when your friends give you nicknames. except the game wouldnt allow certain words. but it was always fun for a little critter to run up to you and yell "hey! *******!"
