every time i go to pick up this anime i kinda turn away from it. i dont know why but the cover of it and the way it is summarized on the back it doesnt make me want to read it at all can somebody tell me why its suppose to be really good

I admit the first 2 volumes' covers weren't my favorites either. Plus, the summary makes Kyoko seem very weak and annoying. However, Kyoko is a very strong heroine who can...
manipulate evil spirits
make cute curse dolls
catch up to taxi's on a bike
stalk someone while cursing the person's generation
peel a Daikon (a long white turnip) into a flower
She is obsessed with princesses and devotedly believes in faeries.
play badminton in a chicken suit
Because she had lost the emotion "love," she is placed into the "L.O.V.E. ME" program in which she has to wear and embarrassingly, shocking pink work uniform that the president designed for the program. Kyoko is also very honest and respectful. She's pretty much alone in Tokyo, as a 16 year old that's striving into showbiz, in which she never took interest in at all.
I hope I wrote enough to make you curious about Skip Beat! without spoiling the series.

i love both the anime and the manga.
i wish they'd make a season two so that it would catch up with the manga. i want to see those scenes move whee
