the epic tale of dusty the cat, or 'how /b/ saved a kitty'

so, for those who dunno, some a*****e punk posted a video on youtube ((since removed)) where he physically assaulted a kitty.

his brother was the camera man. crying

this, naturally, caused OUTRAGE across the internet, where kitties are king. this outrage traveled like a tsunami until it crashed onto the beaches of 4chan, where the /b/tards were SHOCKED AND APPALLED.

yes, believe it or not, from the brilliant minds who brought you ***** and boxxy came a response of epic awesomeness.

they tracked the kid down, called the cops, and now the kitty has been rescued.

NORMALLY, i'm not the biggest fan of internet vigilantism, but in this case, HELLZ YEAH!

I just want to know what happens to Dusty after that. I know he's in the vet but he needs to be taken far, far away from those people. (I blaming the parents too - there's no way in hell children should act like that. Get a hold of your ******** kids before they become psychotic little bastards.)

D: ... I think.. thats kind of scary... they tracked him down and found him? geez....

btw I doubt anything is really gana happen to those kids. 14 right? juvie? At most their parents might have to pay a fine and they spend a year in juvie. Which will probably make them bigger douches then they were in the first place.

but at least the cat was saved... hopefully they dont just give him back to the family. If hes put in a shelter i think he would find a home fast being an internet star and all...

the court can order mandatory therapy for these kids, which is good. we don't want them to move on to people...and more kittens. crying

they CAN be placed in juvie though, and contrary to popular belief, you don't just magically get out @ 18 or 21. its when the system decides you're READY to get out.

trufax. go watch "lockdown" sometime when they do a juvie prison.

also, there is no way in HELL a vet would release a cat back to a family like that. even if they're allowed to have the kitty back, i wouldn't be surprised if the kitty "ran away" from the vet's office.

besides, /b/ will stalk this family until confirmation of the kitty's long-term safety is established...bc that's how they roll. heart

D: Poor cat, I'm glad he's safe now.
Those kids need help. They're taking whatever frustrations they have and releasing it on animals. Which could at some point turn into violence against other people.

I want the sherif to have the cat - I don't know why, I just feel like he'd make a good owner for poor Dusty.

And yeah, it IS kind of creepy that they can track people down like that, but at the same time, they've also prevented or found the sick people that do such things. There's the one kid who planned to shoot up his school and was alerted to the authorities by /b/ and I think I remember reading they tracked people who post child pornography. Of course, the talent for tracking and finding has gotten them in trouble quite a bit but, eh, /b/ will always have its redeeming qualities. (They like cats for sure.)
