If you haven;t checked out tektek.org yet, check there - they have an avatar simulator which allows you to put anything on your avatar - and it will help you choose things to buy from the stores.

sampra try to go with complimentary colors--black & white,green & red,orange & purple Actually, if you follow a color wheel, secondary colors don't complement each other well. Yellow and purple are better suited as a combination over orange and purple.
In addition, adjacent colors with a contrast color (black, white, or gray) go very well.

In addition, adjacent colors with a contrast color (black, white, or gray) go very well. yes i was mistaken.I have not actually looked at one in a long time(forgetful).I agree that yellow would go better with purple.But the white,black,and grey contrast does infact create a nice look. New advice would be to experiment with item styles and colors to see which ones go together best.
