How does your soq fit in with the plot?: Molly is very docile as well, preferring polite conversation on a grassy knoll above any grand adventure. She's had enough adventure for one lifetime.
Anything Else: Molly never got over the loss of her mate or son, so she will have some bouts of depression. She'll have to be able to deal with those.

How does your soq fit in with the plot?: Chen is a traveler, but he mostly sticks to the open plains. Perhaps he's wandered into the mountains near the teepee for the first time and gets into some trouble, like the storm causes a large branch to pin one of his legs, and he, as per usual, is a little tipsy, hence the trouble getting unpinned.
Anything Else: If a love interest were to result, it would have to be just a fling. Chen might be willing to stay around for a while, possibly even help raise the foals, but he would take off again at some point.
