Hymn & Cada
Sojo & Possibly Marius (sp?)

The road was wide leading off from Amies town center, it was bricked and commonly crowded with people. Off the three branching roads several others winded through creating small neighborhoods or leading off into the country side away from the docks. Even on a day clear as this not many people walked off one narrow road leading off a branching travel road. This "alley" as it was more commonly referred to as was only about as wide as two people and at the end of the long dark path was an iron gate that led entrance onto a small property.
The man who had sold the property to Hymn and Sojo referred to it as a 'Hidden Value'. He had said at one point Amies had many of these secret houses but nowadays only a few historic ones were left. The houses were built straight back into other buildings so it looked like half a house was sticking out of a brick wall. Of course there was no back yard, but a small front yard received a little sunlight when it was around the noon-ish hours.
Hymn only investigated the house as he pulled his luggage through the iron gates. They were small and silent. He was scared one night he would get lost on his way to the house since the path was so dark, but Sojo promised Hymn that a plague posted on the outside of a building showed that there was a house down here, if you believed it that is.
The teen only scuffed his shoes throwing them off when he stepped onto the house wide porch and followed his guardian into the house. The outside looked like an antique, and the inside was much smaller than their old house but still just as pretty. The few windows looked into the front yard but mainly collectibles Sojo had been moving in resided along the walls and shelves around the main room.
"To your left is the living room which leads straight into the kitchen and dinning room off the back. A library is to your right after you pass through a small den. As you see a staircase leads upwards. Upstairs the second door on the left is yours, there's a big window, a few shelves but it's mainly renovated as much of the interior of this house is." said Sojo trying to accuratly point as his head was dipped down in a box.
Hymn only laughed and though about the letter he'd send to Cada about where they lived and hoped the small boy had gotten it. Smiling he carefully made his way up the stairs to his new room since they no longer lived in the forest.
His room was a decent size, plenty of room and arranged nicely. The door was on the left side of the room looking straight out at a large window when you entered. A nook in the wall on the far right hid a desk and shelf. Straight to your right even was a bed with folded sheets at the end. Obviously someone had been expecting them.
Hymn only grew a bit happier and yet annoyed as he began pulling all his luggage out, he still didn't want to move, but now this is where they belonged, in the city.
When the dust finished unpacking he rushed back downstairs, past Sojo, and outside where he stood looking at the small "alley" leading up to their house, it wasn't as dark as he thought, and their yard wasn't either, they were both well lit by the sun and the seemingly endless walk from the street was only a couple hundred feet.
Interesting what the mind can do. Hymn only shrugged and went back inside at Sojo's call all the time thinking about his last meet with Krinn, and his last game with Cada. Oh how long it had been.
