oh, man, ace, when i first went to college, i felt exactly the same!

fact of the matter was, i was just too young to be there. crying i needed a break from school, and i took it and worked for like, ever, and now i'll be heading back in the spring. xd

give it at least a month before you actively start trying to get friends. everyone is nervous and stupid that first month...it'll be easier later on when everyone is more acclimated to school. i also highly recommend joining some study group or club if you're searching for coolio peeps to hang with. 3nodding

Classes started today - I have feeling that being busy is going to keep me occupied with not hanging out with others. Buses are amusing too.

I was lonely when I started college too. It will get easier as the year goes on. I PROMISE! If you are living in a dorm, try talking to people on your floor. I met my current bf at college. (He lived right by me) That is how most people make friends. There are also usually clubs and stuff. Anyways I hope that helps. And if all else fails you still have lots of virtual friends! heart
