Facebook Is Creepy, Again.

So, someone wants to add me as a friend on Facebook. Normally I'm fine with this, as I usually know someone said person is friends with. However this time I'm not. I even looked at his friends list, and it creeped me out even more! Here is his page for those of you who want to see.

Oh if it's anyone from the ATG here, sorry. I can't see it being anyone though because they aren't friends with any ATG'ers.

I don't think I have too much info on my profile. I don't have a network, I don't have where I live, I do have what school I went to, the only phone number is my cell phone an I can choose to answer or not, and I just have the day I was born and that I'm engaged to GTR. And I also just edited GTR's profile to get rid of OUR CURRENT CITY!! Dumbass.

So like I said, I don't believe I have too much info on my profile.

I still want people to be able to see that I exist. I've had a few friends from school add me. All you can see when you bring up my profile, if you're not a friend of mine, is my picture and friend list, GTR you can only see his picture. I changed that today.

I'm unsearchable, and you can't see any of my information, not even my display picture, unless you are friends with me. I'm not listed under my real name, either.

Granted, I have absolutely zero interest in reconnecting with anyone I went to school with, and mostly just use Facebook for playing Scrabble. :3 So it doesn't matter.

I'm probably contributing nothing here, but I refuse to go to Facebook. I barely even used Myspace, making a Facebook account is a waste of time. I have the addresses and numbers of the people I want to keep in contact with so I don't have to sift through the disgusting weirdos that approach on the internet.

Though since I'm a guy, replace weirdos with porn bots. stare

I got it because that was the only way I could talk to my best friends at the time. They didn't have phones and didn't give me their addresses. One moved 5 or 6 hours, by car, away from me, and the other moved to BC. Then slowly family would add me and other friends that I thought wanted nothing to do with me anymore added me, and now I'm a Facebook junkie.

I'm with Kyla on this. I've had friends bug me to join facebook but I can't really get myself to do so. Plus it would be yet another thing for me to log onto and check... I have better things to do with my limited time. -_-

All you get out of my profile is that I'm a student. A little leg work could get you my age too and info on my personality but that's still very vague.

I'm a Facebook junkie too, despite wanting nothing to do with it, oooooh, let's say a couple months ago? I get fewer creepy people randomly friending me because I'm listed as married, but the occasional wierdo does pop up. One I know, and I just keep clicking "ignore" whenever he tries again. The others, I tend to check their friends list and if it's a guy with only female "friends"...I click that ignore button again. If not, I message them asking if this is about a game we both play. No reply = no friend. If they say yes, I stick them in my "Game Buddies" group, and restrict that group's access to the bare minimum.

What I notice about that guy is that he's no longer letting casual browsers see his friends list. Also, he looks like a young Christopher Walken (which means creepy).
