YES! Okami is so muc fun. Some people will pull out the stupid "Well it doesn't have this and this is crap" But who cares about those people. I love it.
Depends on your taste really. Its combat system can be confusing at times, but once you get the hang of it, you are able to upgrade your weapons fast.

It's beautiful and the music is amazing. the story is very good and if you are into mythology you can pick out a lot of it, you don't need it, but it makes you appreciate the story more.

I was thinking about the user here when I read this.
Oh! They are making a second Okami! Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyo. You are Amaterasu's son and you get to do a good bit of what is in the first. You team up with partner in this one. It's for the DS though. Not sure how I'm going to like that.

Oh GODS YES! It's loads of fun. Well, at least in my opinion. Not sure how much that means to you, but... As said above, the music and artwork are probably the most prominent and best feature of the game. I guess the battle system kinda depends on what game console you're getting it for. I had it for the Wii, and I have to say that I got used to how to battle pretty quickly. One of the best features to me was the whole brush attacking idea. The whole game is really unique and wonderful.
