I really am getting tired of all this "random item" crap; people generally don't like being told that they cannot choose what items they purchase, but must instead throw their money in first, and THEN find out what they get for it.

Personally, I like the chest. =]
It's given me great items.
And ROFL! I let others spend the gaia cash.
When I see one of those chests, I go to the MP, throw out 30k-ish and then some maybe? To buy a key, and open the thing while it's up for 30 minutes.
That's how I do it. Never keep a key, and just go buy one when one of those chests shows up.
