Well, there's the standard "invest in a few MCs and EIs, save 'em for 2-3 months (or until evolution has been finished for 2-3 months for EIs), then sell", but aside from that I've found that you can make substantial amounts of gold in the latter levels of zOMG. I made 6k just fighting through the "papa saw" quest.

Careful, though; I've discovered that booty grab in real life is much more likely to COST you 500k than to win you half as much. Uptight b***h...
