All of our hearts and prayers go out to the families that were caught in this unfortunate event. May God bless them all. And hopefully countries all over the world would continue to pitch into helping Haiti rebuild.

has this man NEVER read the bible??? HELLO! THERE ARE RAINBOWS, PAT!

after god flooded the earth and destroyed everyone but noah and his peeps, he slapped a rainbow in the sky and promised he would never again wipe out large segments of the population just bc they angered him.

ALSO, new testament god ((aka christian god)) is a way too touchy-feely, come into the light kinda deity for this s**t.

its in poor taste and it shows a sub-par understanding of the word of god, at best.

can someone please put pat out to pasture already???

danny glover was pretty stupid, too. he blamed the earthquake and the disaster afterward on global warming. stare

first, its global climate change, mr. glover. NOT warming. some places will, in fact, get colder.

second, that's got NOTHING to do with plate tectonics, sug. nothing.


i've heard the big issue in haiti right now is that people's wounds are becoming septic in the tropical heat AND that people are so discouraged from the lack of medical services that they've stopped trying to get to them. crying this means people who WERE initially treated aren't coming back for follow-ups, and that sucks.

rioting and looting has already started ((although i don't believe its looting if you're stealing to feed/clothe your family)). next will come a widespread, typically easily defeated contagious disease of some sort. sweatdrop
