For Shinobi who are not apart of a clan and wish to advance in the arts of Ninjutsu. The great elements Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water all come with different strengths in weakness. In NDS we have a very simple system which is list below. But first let me explain some rules behind chakra element.

Because your character will have a element they specialize in does not mean they can not learn other jutsu. It simply means that their attacks are not as strong as a person who specializes in that form of chakra.

If your character is apart of a clan such as the Hyoton (Water, Wind and Ice which is an advance chakra form, and Crystal which is a master chakra), the Uchiha (Fire), Senju (Water, Earth,or Wood its advance chakra), Chakra Mouth (Earth), or Iron Sand (Earth and Lightning) your character may already have two elements or in some cases three. If you are apart of the Uchiha or Chakra Mouth and your character only has its one clan element you may participate in the chakra nature system to gain your second. Now if you roll the same element that you already have, you are allowed to try again to gain your second element.

As you already know Genin and Chuunin are only allowed One Element until they reach Jounin when they gain a second. Unless they are placed under certain training which will give the ability to try for a second element.


Now in the Guild Main Forum there is a Thread Call Chakra Elemental Nature. In there everyone will fill out the form and roll 1 die with 20 sides. Giving you a number from 1 - 20. Your total number will match up with an element. With that you will gain an element. This information you can then rp through training to make it official with your character or you can just add it to your profile. If you have to do this for more than one character then that means you have to post and roll seperatly for each character.


Katon, or Fire Element, takes the form of fire and flame attacks. These can be fire balls or extended flame throwing. Fire is typically a specialised offensive element.
Must Roll: 1, 7, 15, 17

Fuuton, or Wind Element, takes the form of wind based attacks. These can be huge gusts or sustained wind storms. Wind is typically a specialised offensive element, good for close to mid-range attacks.
Must Roll: 2, 6, 14, 16

Raiton, or Lightning Element takes the form of electrical and lightning based attacks. When used in conjunction with metal based weapons, the power becomes amplified. Lightning is good for middle to long-range attacks.
Must Roll: 3, 8, 11, 18

Doton, or Earth Element, takes the form of earth and mud based attacks. These can be walls made from mud or the ninja maneuvering himself below ground to attack his opponent from below. Earth can change the hardness composition of objects, making something hard as steel or soft as clay.
Must Roll: 4, 9, 12, 19

Suiton, or Water Element, takes the form of water based attacks. These can be walls of water used as shields or water formed into large striking jets. In this regard, Water is very diverse when it comes to shape modification.
