Icchiro followed the ANBU leader down the hill to where he had fought the other three Genin. To Icchiro, Edegaru was just another suspect in the crime of his parents' murder. He knew it was a Hyuuga that had slaughtered the ones he loved and if it just happened to be Edegaru, he didn't know what he would do. It couldn't be anything drastic or harsh though. Ugh, what am I thinking. He's loyal to the Mizukage and I know Zerus wouldn't order something so harsh and immoral. He pushed the thoughts out of his head for now and focused on his fight with Edegaru. When he stopped, he was standing about 10 feet in front of Edegaru, his sword still on his shoulder. All of a sudden, a compartment opened up on his sword. It was the blade that was facing toward the sky. It swung up until it reached a 90 degree angle with the top of the sword. A light hiss could be heard as a black cloud slowly rose up out of the sword, which doubled as a container for Icchiro's Iron Sand. After a few seconds, there was an iron mist that floated around Icchiro and when the Iron Sand stopped pouring from the sword, the compartment closed back up and he placed the sword on his back, in its holster. He then put his hands in his pockets and a chunk of the Iron Sand flew at Edegaru. Within a second, the chunk turned into a spike that has the diameter of a tennis ball but was long so that if the tip was broken off, the rest of the spike would make contact. The spike was aimed at Edegaru's chest and reached him in about two seconds. Icchiro's grin soon faded as he waited to see Edegaru's reaction so he would be able to think of a counter.

Tsukiko nodded slightly to the Anbu who would evaluate them later on. Unfortunately she was unable to ask Gopan any questions about herself, for the kunoichi was swept off her feet and taken to higher ground by the Shinobi Kenji. Tsukiko watched, her eyes hardening. This annoyed her slightly. This was a training ground, not some playground or area to use the time to flirt. Her hardened mind frame already jumped to conclusions, deducing that Gopan would not make a good team mate for her. Suki did not regard herself too highly, for there were plenty of things to learn still but she did not think Gopan would be that much of an asset. Bending her knees slightly, she pushed off the ground, going in a backwards, vertical direction. Using her Chakra, she covered a great distance and landing smoothly on a part further away from where the second evaluation would begin.
Ignoring Gopan completely now, she focused on the battle that had already started. This guy was using, sand? Her eyes shone brightly, her interest peaked. Never had she seen such a thing before. This was going to be a fight to be zeroing in on. Not only was it going to reveal a lot about both of her peers it would also be a good way for her to begin building some type of strategy. Every gesture, stance, use of dominant hand and leg positions would serve her well. Suki only hoped that the girl who was busy flirting away would use this time well.

Marciel Suigetsu
When Akisame didn't answer, he sighed a little. It was clear that things weren't going the way that the oddball had intended, what with his fall and sleep. The newly appointed genin looked to Suki. He'd invite her himself, by the looks of it, and as such, he moved for her, waving. Though he winced a little. He had no idea what to say, aside from what was necessary. Marciel had never had a need to speak with the girl before. "Hey! After you graduate, swing by the hot springs with Aki over there," the boy commented simply, as he approached. Depending on her reaction, he'd linger a little longer, or he'd depart.

The iron spike that Edegaru had hit, dispersed into sand as he made a dash towards Icchiro. As he ran through the cloud of iron sand, Edegaru left a clearing behind him. But, before Icchiro could think of a reaction, Edegaru was right in front of him. His eyes widened and out of pure instinct, Icchiro tensed his stomach to brace the impact but luckily, his other instinct was to use the sand as a shield. A small part of the iron cloud quickly moved in and barely caught the knee. Icchiro was relieved and started to raise his right hand from his pocket when he noticed the elbow soon afterwards. This was too quick to block with his iron sand so Icchiro had no choice but to take the hit. As the elbow made contact with his face, Icchiro's cigarette flew from his mouth. He staggered back, holding his head with his left hand and spinning to his right As he spun, he raised his right arm from his pocket. Fully extending his arm, he swung it backwards, as he spun clockwise. If successful, the back of Icchiro's forearm would make contact with the right side of Edegaru's face. But, Icchiro knew that the ANBU captain was too skilled to get hit by such a move so he had a backup plan.
As he extended his arm, the cloud closed in on Edegaru, becoming more and more solid as it did so. Icchiro was trying to keep him still so that his attack would hit. If this was successful, Edegaru would be trapped in a solid disk that would radiate from his waist. As all of this was going on, the sand from the spike earlier was quickly creeping up on Edegaru from behind. It formed into another spike right before Edegaru's elbow made contact and would pierce him in the back at the same time Icchiro's back hand would hit. If Edegaru were skilled enough, he would be able to avoid all three counters and Icchiro knew that. But he wasn't trying to kill him, just test him.

It took quite a few minutes as Akisame tried NOT to reach for his head and cuddle it like the busted melon it felt like. So, when Marciel mentioned his name, it took him a moment to respond. Suddenly, he threw back his head and roared with laughter, until he figured out that only made it hurt worse and he finally did grab his head. "Ah, s**t! ******** trees!" Of course. It HAD to have been the tree! It could never have been his fault! His balance was just to good! Standing up, Akisame swung at the tree in anger, and splintered it from the roots up to about eight feet high. The whole tree shook, dislodging all manner of leaves, dust, and birds nests. Coughing and knocking the stuff off of him, he finally turned to Marciel and walked over. The boy was almost completely covered from head to toe in a white, red, and black suit. His arms were a bit revealed, though, and of his face the only thing they'd see was the tan skin and the emerald green eyes.
Coughing to make sure his lungs were clear, Akisame clapped Marciel on the back, almost knocking the kid over. Eyes crinkled up in laughter, he chuckled. "So you made Genin, huh? Hopefully we'll be in the same squad. Else I'll have to beat some a** to convince them they made a bad mistake!" Glancing over to the girl beside him, he leaned in to whisper loudly to Marciel. "Who's the hotty?"
