You don't have to register to weigh in on your opinion... I myself don't know why coffee cake is beating bundt cake. It's just not right!

If we're not doing any specifics about which kind of cake or pie... I wouldn't be able to decide whether I like cake or pie more. I like both of them.
Since the link features the battles between various choices of cakes and pies. I'll decide between the competitors.

I'm just going to simplify my answers, both are damn delicious! I love cake, and I love pie (as long as it's made right). Hate cheesecake though...

On average I prefer cake, but since my favorite is cheesecake I say pie.

the only kind of cake i like is called a pie- Boston Cream Pie!
i especially love fruit pies

my brother in Maine makes yummy blueberry pies
blackberry is also good
some farmer friends make the best deep dish double crust German apple pie, with cinnamon.
