Several for myself... Will list in no order.
Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist--the manga as I never watched the anime. Appearances...he's a suit of ******** armor. HELL YES. Personality; he's sweet, level-headed, and open about his emotions rather than being a hotheaded dumbass like most males in shounen manga. Talent; skilled alchemist and a totally badass martial arts fighter.
Konata Izumi from Lucky Star--manga and anime. Damn. Does she have any faults? No, not really, no!! She's hot, hilarious, witty.......thats's mostly it, but what more do you need? Lots of sub genres in those adjectives.
Canaan from CANAAN--anime because the manga exploded or something. There's something I can't explain about her; maybe it's just her show's mind-blowing, drool-inducing visual quality but whenever she's onscreen being a badass, it just...takes my breath away. She takes my breath away. I love her appearance and her person, enigmatic and almost blank as she is. That blankness is a total contradiction, though! She's like, on fire with this blinding energy that's threatening to burst from my computer. Love.
Ayame Sohma--Fruits Basket manga. Though not even in the running as a favorite character from the series...somehow "crush" seems an appropriate term for my feelings for this man. He's slightly arrogant, quite oblivious to other people's actual feelings, loud, claims reign over whatever room he happens into, and abandoned his little brother when he needed him. Yet, Ayame is all of those things because he's confident in himself; he never hesitates or stops for an instant (Except for tea.) or allows anyone to rain on his parade. That amount of pure self-esteem is incredible and he does try to connect unselfishly with others, especially his betrayed little brother. Does it totally wrong, but it's evident that he's really a kind person who only wants to do good; just in his own way. To compare to another great love of mine, though from a book/musical...Ayame reminds me of Galinda from Wicked. With a "Ga"; Glinda doesn't apply so much.
Mhm...
