xxxxx۩ Charlotte was a poor mare before being chosen by the herd leader to be his main harem mare. She didnt mind doing so, as he treated her nicely and gave her all she wanted or could ever want. Though, she was not in love with him. She did love a stallion. Deeply in love. It was forbidden for any stallion to touch one of the herd leaders harem mares. But the leader could see their love, and was touched by it, if not only a little jealous. He allowed them to spend her free time together and allowed their love to go on. As long as they never embrace and the leader was the only one who bed her. This glorious time seemed like it would go on forever. And soon Charlotte found herself pregnant with the leaders brood. He was very proud, and she was able to give birth to two strong colts. It seemed as though Char had the perfect life, full of happiness and love.

A while later, Charlotte became regnant again. Though this time, there was trouble with the birth. She gave birth to a dead colt and a sickly filly. Outraged by this, the leader killed Charlotte's true love, and the sickly filly. Charlotte was full of grief, and knew she could never face the herd leader again. She slipped away one night, taking one last glimpse of the two colts who had grown up, hoping the leader would spare them any harshness.

Charlotte traveled for a while. Becoming skinnier and skinnier with the changing terrain. She was wary of things she did not know if they were okay to eat, and she simply did not seem to feel hungry much any more. It also seemed that she was unconsciously developing a phobia of large stallions. every time she saw them, she remembered the leader of her old herd and froze with fright.

Charlotte is now looking for some place she can call her own. ۩
