First Floor Corridor

[Professor Tahiri]

The First Floor is home to a majority of the classrooms in the school. The Muggle Studies classroom, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, and the History of Magic Classroom are all located here. The Transfiguration Professor's office is also located on the floor, as well as access to the Herbology Greenhouses and the Stone Bridge which leads to the Viaduct entrance and the Middle courtyard.

He closed and locked his door with his magic, just flicking his wand at it, wordless incantations were one of his specialties. He dug his hands into his robed pockets and his shoes had a hollow thudding sound as he walked. Clack, clip, clack, clip, the sound of his shoes echoed across the halls. He turned as he got to the classroom for Herbology.

Professor Grey, Slytherin House - Herbology Teacher

Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington
Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington floated nearby, lost in his thoughts. He sighed on the sight of a professor.
"Good evening, Professor Grey!", he smiled, gliding towards the teacher, "How are you today?" he asked as the teacher turned to reach his classroom.

He smiled at Sir Nicholas.
"Absolutely fine Sir. Nick. How are you doing? Still requesting to join the headless hunt?" He smirked. "Well, you'll get invited when they find that you're a hoot to be with." He laughed. "Perhaps they'll invite you after this school is over."

Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington
Sir Nicholas nodded sadly.
"Oooh, I'm fine, thank you. Alas, yes. Their stubbornness is incredible. Just because of a small bit of tissue!", he grinned, fingering his wounded, transparent neck, "But I doubt they will, since I am already expired and my head isn't 'properly decapitated'." he chuckled. He suddenly remembered that he had a meeting with the other house ghosts in the Dungeons.
"Well, I must be going now. I promised the Bloody Baron and the Fat Friar an argument about our newest students." he bowed and passed through a wall, heading to the dungeons of the enchanted school.

He smirked.
"Alright. Have fun arguing Sir. Nick." He waved farewell to the ghost and smiled as he continued his walk down the halls to his class.

He slipped out of his office, looking this way and that devouring and studying everything within the hallway. He had to find his precious plant. He couldn't just leave it alone to die. He had one hand held to his chest to try and ease his racing and fearful heart. He knew if he couldn't find it soon the plant would start to whither. He was more afraid for his plant than he thought he would be, but he had taken care of it for 18 years. He shivered, the plant was old and because of his green thumb (so to say) it had lived much longer than most plants could or should. He just kept shivering as his feet guided him in every which direction.

He was getting happier and happier as he walked down the hallway to his office. God did he miss his other plants already. Hearing his shoes was a bit odd, he was guessing most of the students were sleeping or at class or something. He didn't rightfully care. He was beaming as he turned the final corner into his classroom.

Levana ran from her class and down the hall. She couldn't seem to stop the tears from coming from her eyes. She finally stopped at the end and slumped down on the ground. Her tears were coming out fast and with no sign of stopping. Inside she felt stupid, why was she reacting so badly over a Slytherin?! Any students and faculty who passed by went by unnoticed by Levana.

WILLIAM STAYNE
CARETAKER

Instead of having dinner with other teachers, Stayne decided to patrol. Why would he waste his time talking to them after all? It's not like a female professor's going to sleep with him right away, is it? Stayne flicked the lantern in his hand, looking around as he shooed a snogging couple away back to their Common Rooms.
"Bloody morsels." he hissed under his breath as he continued to walk.

Inari had just left the great hall, still a little flustered from the events and her head in the dark corner of her mind. She didn't even noticed the other man in the hall till she had walked right into him. Her hands automatically grabbing him shoulders. "Oh Hello" She said the first thing that popped into her mind.

And here comes a lady!

Well, that was fast! Stayne thought as he smirked. He held the female close to him and looked down at her, arching an eyebrow at her with a sneer.
"Well, hello.", he sniggered, "Aren't you a little bit too tall to be a student?" he questioned, smiling down at her.

Inari laughed,"Well then I guess it is a good think I decided to teach." She said with a smirk. Looking the man up at the man and from what she could tell being pressed against him, this was an okay place to be. "Besides if I was just a tall student, this would be a whole different situation." She said noticing just how close they were.
