I have been trying to create a story-line for a manga i plan on doing This story is supposed to take place in about 1592-1598, but all i came up with was a story about a young girl in ancient Korea who has to go on a journey to help stop the Japanese invasion with a veteran warrior who became a drunk and a slight pervert??. Both the girl and warrior are skilled at martial arts... However, the two dont exactly like each other. The girl calls the warrior 'Old Man' (even though hes still... 20-30?) and the warrior calls the young girl (Kid XD) When traveling, they encounter bandits (in ancient korea, bandits hid in the mountains for passerbies and steal food, gold, etc.). After beating up most of the bandits, the leader pulls out a sword. The warrior wins the sword fight and him and the girl flee. The girl learns how to use a sword....
Well thats all i came up with D: its shaky ,huh? With your guys' help i hope i can make an awesome manga 4laugh

 It sounds great - though if I were you, I would go with a more traditional, painted drawing style, it wouldn't make sense if it looks Modern contradictory to the fact that it takes place during the 1590s. I love it, I can't wait to hear the details! Good luck!

yeha .. i've been looking at the style of hair, clothing,, back then.. during that time period, there was 3 kingdoms... i plan on choosing the largest kingdom, Silla

How does a girl learn martial arts in that era? Wouldn't women normally be barred from learning them?

hmm.. I think i'll try to work on that... but the story isnt completely true so i believe that i can make up some fictional parts confused Coo Beastie How does a girl learn martial arts in that era? Wouldn't women normally be barred from learning them?
