First and Second Chapter of a Little story I started writing awhile back! Haven't had too much chance to work on them... sweatdrop so they're kinda short... gonk
-----
Floating endlessly in space... so peaceful, calm, and completely and utterly silent. The only sound for miles was my own heartbeat, and even that was very low and quiet. Not because I was sick or unhealthy, but just because the sound of it sometimes annoyed me. Sometimes I wondered why I had ears. My sight was unmatched in clarity and precision. I could scent the individual gases of stars from light years away. My touches were light and sensitive so as to not disturb any of a planets inhabitants, if any. And there were so many different experiences of flavor! Some were more exotic and appealing than others. So even though I could hear very well, it was really unnecessary in the vast openness of the Universe.
I tentatively reached out a webbed hand towards a small reddish star cautiously. I guessed this star wouldn't be too hot, by the way it glowed dully red, but you could never be too sure. One of my feathery brightly colored attachments floated out, the tip just barely brushing along the star. Even the lightest touch sent a very thin hairlike barb into the star's core, testing it.
A red dwarf. A little cool, lacking the energy I would have liked, but oh well. Retracting my limb, I glided over to the star and let my tongue flick out eagerly, tasting some of the remnants of energy left outside it. 4,000°C was an OK temperature I guess. With my eternally frozen body, nothing was ever too hot. Opening my mouth wide, I hooked my curved, razor sharp teeth into the star and swallowed it whole. Feeling the satisfactory pop of the star imploding made me feel a little better.
I had no real need for ears, as I did not hear much sound, but I still kept them, just in case. Looking out over the black vastness of space, suspended in the air limply like a puppet on strings, I came to a dim realization that someday, this would all be gone. Or at least changed. Once the universe expanded enough, it would soon shrink. I estimated that to hopefully be many galaxy-turns away, but I couldn't be sure. Looking for something different, I set out towards an interesting looking spiral galaxy. It looked promising in star count, so I decided I would probably stay there for awhile. Assuming there was no other Space inhabitants.
My assumptions were partially incorrect.

On my way to the new galaxy I wondered what kind of surprise was in store here. Every galaxy had one secret or another hidden within it's depths. Like the galaxy I was going to had strange radio waves and signals in an odd language that I quickly deciphered and now knew almost as well as my native tongue, for which is still currently nameless. Although this particular language had many different dialects and branches into almost entirely new languages and meanings. I picked up stray words like 'Japanese' and 'America.' So far it made no sense. Were there other inhabitants to this galaxy who were this evolved in speech? I listened in and tried to catch the names of Galaxies I'd visited.
The... Andromeda Galaxy had it's interesting plumes of scented condensed air that gave me a warm tingly feeling when I passed through them.
I also once visited these strange beings inhabiting the Comet Galaxy. They were an interesting species, living off the scorching gas plasma that it somehow produced. Tiny little beings barely bigger than my claw tip, always flitting around squeaking in their high frequency language that was quite hard to decipher. They had an awful after taste.
Then there was the Sunflower Galaxy, I believe it's called? Such a lovely place. Very beautiful when one of the Yellow super giant's hit a portion just right. At a half of that current Yellow Star's rotation, the entire galaxies gas would suddenly be illuminated in reds and oranges and greens, giving it the look of a... Flower I had one time seen growing on a Yellow dwarf. Before I ate it. Yes, the flower had an pleasant flavor to it that I can't compare with anything else.
Another memorable galaxy would be the Whirlpool Galaxy. It was so intriguing with it's red laced arms reaching outward and up in a fashion not unlike a young Black Hole. This particular galaxy was where I met the small and strange species of *僆. They were a very peculiar race, with inconsistent anatomies and minds. Very finicky creatures, immune to most of Space's virus's and radiation much like myself, they proved to be very very intelligent and wise, having traveled far and wide. Their bodies were almost translucent, yet they sparked with a certain electricity. They related stories of great adventure in other Galaxies and Solar Systems far far away, and of different species and planets with curious inhabitants. But of course, the 僆 required conversation from me so I related some of my earlier adventures to them via mind thought. Apparently the 僆 also had the ability to communicate with their minds, which was relieving, since I didn't need to speak. I rarely ever needed to talk out loud, it just wasn't a necessity.
I was soon shaken out of my reverie by a light, well, by a few million of them. I had reached the galaxy at last. I grasped into space for the name, the radio waves were more frequent now, and caught onto something. The Milky Way... Hm. A new Galaxy meant new knowledge, which would bring me one step closer to supremacy. Not like I really cared, but I was super enhanced for just that wasn't I? To rule the Universe peacefully was a longtime goal, and I had all the time in the Universe. To take control of the Universe peacefully, or violently, neither mattered much, as long as I gained power over the center star...

ooooo! Interesting concept here. I don't know what to say about it though, spelling seems fine to me, flows well.. BUT! that's not the point.

What IS the , well thing, main character? or is that something for later on in other chapters?

Well Actually... He's eh, just a made up thing, a figment of my imagination sweatdrop He's.. hm.. Closest thing to compare him to would be a dragon??? Long body like that, with only two arms? Should I add later in the story more detail about him? or his er.. species?
